Introductions over dinner at a typical bavarian beer garden. Day 2: Munich - SalzburgThe prealpine region of Bavaria is the perfect playground to warm up our bikes on the first riding day. Along the “German Alpine Road” we head towards Salzburg to visit the world famous Getreidegasse and have a coffee at the the steps of Salzburg Cathedral, stage of the anual Salzburg Festival of music. Day 3: Salzburg - Grossglockner - Cortina d'AmpezzoThe Grossglockner High Alpine Road awaits us today. The most famous alpine road leads us into the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park, to the highest mountain in Austria, the Grossglockner (3,798m) and its glacier, the Pasterze. We will have a driving and nature experience of a special kind on 48 kilometres of high alpine road with 36 bends, and an altitude ascent to 2,504 metres!

We pass through a unique world of mountains with blossoming alpine meadows, fragrant mountain forests, massive cliffs and eternal ice to the foot of the Grossglockner, the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe.At the end of this day of superior riding experience we reach Cortina d’Ampezzo, in the southern (Dolomitic) Alps located in the Veneto region in Northern Italy. Day 4: Cortina d'Ampezzo - Dolomites - MeranThe National Park of the Dolomitic Alps is one of the most famous riding spots in the Alps - it is hard to find a place where you can combine this variety of riding tracks and the unique beauty of nature.  We cross the Passo di Gardena (2.121 m) and the Passo di Sella (2.240 m) among many others on our way west. In the evening we reach Meran, which in the past has been a popular place of residence for literary people and artists, including Franz Kafka and empress Elizabeth of Austria (Sissi) who appreciated its mild climate. Day 5: Restday MeranToday we take a rest and enjoy the beauty of “Schloss Tirol”, the gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle and, if you are up to it, you can join a wine tasting tour to the venerable Versoaln vine at Katzenzungen Castle.

Day 6: Meran - Passo Stelvio - Tyrol We say good-bye to the Dolomites and get prepared to take the highest peak of  the tour. With its 48 “tornantes” and its 2757 meters of altitud, the Passo Stelvio is the second highest pass road of the Alps. An authentic myth among the routes of motorcycling and extremely beautiful due to its unique location. From here we will cross the border into Switzerland, later into Austria again and head directly towards the valley of Kaun and the Peak of the White Lake (3537 m.), one of the highest peaks of Tyrol. Day 7: Roundtrip TyrolToday we explore the Austrian Alps by bike. Our hotel is surrounded by infinite possibilities of superb roads that will lead us to visit the beautiful spots of Tyrol. We visit Innsbruck, the capital of the Tyrol and later the mythical crystal caves of Swarovski. Day 8: Tyrol - Silvretta - Castle NeuschwansteinWe leave Tyrol on the legendary Silvretta High Alpine Roadwith its´ 34 hairpin bends. The splendid mountain scenery of the Silvretta and the lakes Vermunt and Silvretta immediately next to the road are the worthy environment for our last ride in the center of the Alps.

In the afternoon we arrive at the fairy-tale area of Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria. Day 9: Castle Neuschwanstein - MunichEarly in the morning we will be guests at the residence of Ludwig II of Bavaria at Neuschwanstein before we head back to Munich, where the city and the BMW World awaits us for a visit. We say good-bye at dinner again in our beloved beer garden.
