best 150cc bike for daily use

1.HeroHonda CBZ (first generation) :I think this was the bike that made 150cc range popular followed by bajaj pulsar. The machine was very aggrassive, powerful strokes and frame was solid. Much more stable than bajaj pulsar when it came to sudden braking. Large wheels made it uncomfortable for short guys but on other side that gave it a distinction of dude's bike.Why?1) 6 Gears2) 3 Modes - Eco, Power and General.3) Best Dashboard and Performance.4) Smooth Engine.5) Good Mileage (50-52 in city and 58-60 on highways).6) Sporty looks and Integrated Tail Lamp.7) Less maintenance.Have a look at it's review on various forum1) SUZUKI GS150R - MouthShut Reviews2) Suzuki GS150R Test Ride MotorBeam Review3) Suzuki GS150 R Ownership Review by Krish Kamath4) Top 5 150cc fuel efficient bikesDepends on your budget, usage etc.If budget isn't a constraint, the R15 or the CBR150R are prime options. But at that price point, the Duke 200 is a mouth watering prospect. If budget is a constraint, you have a number of options.1) The Pulsar 1502) Apache RTR1603) Hero Xtreme/Hunk4) Honda Unicorn5) CB Trigger6) Yamaha FZ7) Suzuki GS150RMore economical: 8) Yamaha SZ-R/X 9) Discover 150If speed is high on your agenda, the Apache should be your vehicle of preference.

Top notch brakes, light weight body and nimble handling make this a fun to ride bike. Vibrations are well documented though. If you want a bike that will survive anything you throw at it and still give you the most wonderful riding experience, the Unicorn. If you don't want the whole fairing bit, the FZ series.
yamaha motorcycle repair calgaryLooks good from any angle but sacrifices on mileage while providing leech like grip with the fat rear tyre that is prone to punctures and rim bends.
bmw f800gs motorcycles for saleIf you want a mix of looks, mileage and power, the Trigger, Pulsar 150, Xtreme/Hunk.
motorcycle parts in champaign ilThe Trigger is a tuned up version of the Unicorn.

Xtreme and Hunk share the same engine. Pulsar 150 is going strong even after a decade now and still churns out sales numbers for Bajaj. Honda engines are extremely smooth but brakes are a little soft. Bajaj engines aren't as smooth, but brakes are really sharp, but lack feedback. Suzuki GS150R is supposed to be really smooth, but their lack of service across the country is a cause for concern.I've been using a Hero Honda Hunk for 3 years now and don't regret the experience one bit!You can find my ownership review here:Hero Honda Hunk Ownership Review: 20,000 kms & 165cc (Joel'ed)! - Team-BHPOn the lower price point, you have the Yamaha SZ-R, which is detuned version of the FZ engine and the Discover 150. Yamaha spares are generally expensive from what I have noticed. So if budget is a constraint, you can try the Discover 150.If you're willing to consider it, the Pulsar 135LS is also supposed to be a hoot to ride! But all this doesn't matter, find your budget, find bikes that match your budget, test ride every bike in the segment, buy the one that connects with you the most.

The real sport bike in 150cc class is All New CBR150r a.k.a Honda K45.It has DOHC engine, it has an engine improvement from the previous CBR version./produ...Considering a 150 CC Bikes there are a lot of Options & one cannot certainly name one as best becoz evryone is the best in few aspects. So here are the options you have in 150APACHE 160 Not exactly a 150 CC bike but its the only one in the segment by TVS.TVS do consider this in 150 cc segment. Not going into technical & nerdy stuff. Its the best in the segment considering the comfort safety & comfort provided.Got a nice engine,Great Pickup(Racing Throtle Response), Best Exhaust Note. All in all Apache 160 is agreat deal considering a price of 89000 for Front+Rear Disk version & 86000 for Front Disk version in Noida. But nothing is perfect & so is Apache. It has It's own set of cons Vibrations in the range of 55-65.Sports Riding Posture causing Back & Wrist pain.Vibrations are minimized by using fully synthetic oils but posture have no option until one gets used to it.

SUZUKI GIXXER/SFIts the best 150 cc bike from Suzuki. It has got looks, style & performance.Looks just like the baby version of GSXS-1000.Belive me when i say its a head turner in every aspect.Apart from looks everything is at par the other 150cc bikes in the market.Fresh things include a good instrument cluster showing Gear & other info, a beautifully crafted Tank.Performance wise it's good but not as good as Apache 160/180.With 3 riders it literally struggles to run.Thing lacking is Clip On Handle Bars.SF is same as the gixxer with a Fairing.PULSAR AS150Its been the latest entrant in the segment by BAJAJ Auto replacing the older gen Pulsar 150's.It's a great bike but just cant provide enough to match with Gixer & Apache. It's as efficient as Apache or Gixxer but the style statement & Bajaj Tag doesn't gel along nicely. The technical specs are impressive but its unable to get the matrket share as Older Pulsar had. With 12 l engine & 143 kg kerb weight it's heavier than both Apache & Pulsar.Great bike but couldn't be named as best.

YAMAHA R15I can write a whole answer for this. The ray of hope for YAMAHA.It's the best bike not considering the budget factor. With a 150 cc you are getting a Race Machine It's not for Streets. It's been in market for almost 8 years now & got an update in 2012 & 2016.If you are a racing enthusiast go for this & if you are a sane rider who doesn't want his pillion looking like sitting on different floor then avoid this. Bike is good but its been quite outdated in terms of other bikes in the same CC Range.Pros include Mean looksAwesome AccelerationCons includeSports Posture will kill you(Not literally):pBad pillion SeatHONDA CBR150It was Honda's attempt to get back at YAMAHA & beating the R15Honda CBR150 is a downgraded version of CBR 250 which is the downgraded version of CBR1000.It rectified the problem R15 was having like Pillion discomfort. Its has Love/Hate looks which have been a major factor for not getting the expected sales. In all the terms it's a good bike & comes form HONDA so you can rely on it without having second thoughts.
