I have found most of the major name stores Nike and so on are pretty expensive but you see lots of families strolling through the mall and eating in the various restaurants, We very often visits this Mall for simple shopping, groceries and meals. It is a big mall with 2 wings both sides of the road connected by a walking bridge. SM is very good for all your normal day to day shopping under one roof and to have a good meal in between.
