I have a 25" skull (can't buy hats at retail shops, only online), so I barely fit a 3XL in some makes. My first helmets were by Bell, then AFX & HJC. I've always hated the wind noise and poor round fit of those cheap helmets. I treated myself to a Icon Airframe Pro Halo Helmet Green 3XL. My skull BARELY scrapes into the shell, but once inside, fits perfectly. I wear a balaclava to keep my ears from being literally TWISTED as I don the helmet. Take a picture of the top of your head with your camera phone... and see if you need round, elongated oval, or long oval. post #23 of 29 (permalink) What Kind Of Helmet Do You Wear?I like the color of your helmet!

By the way, I always prefer a helmet that could protect me from accident and getting injured. You may check them out too. My choice for a new helmet is a Scorpion Tiffany EXO-1100. I haven't purchase it but I'll try to have it soon. post #24 of 29 (permalink) Is it June yet? post #25 of 29 (permalink) Originally Posted by Ozsyd600 "They'll still be as ugly ..." And for your choice: that is indeed a fantastic looking helmet, they did a great job on the graphics. Do be aware that if you ride above 60mph, wind noise on less expensive helmets can be deafening - so I recommend ear plugs. Once you get into the racing price range (above $300, certainly), a lot of the wind drag is eliminated, along with the noise. For whatever you decide to buy, read reviews on more than one website to make sure it'll do what you need, and also fit your budget. Welcome to the forum, and happy riding! post #29 of 29 (permalink) Originally Posted by chicken_strippin Same here in Colorado: no helmet law means MOST of the cruisers wear no gear at all. Closed on Saturday & Sunday. Bikes sell pretty fast at Mid America Cycles & Re cycles, so they don’t stay in stock very long. Our “Show Case” page may not always have current bikes available, but it is a good reference to start with. Our low prices and quality motorcycles keep our customers coming back and our “word of mouth” advertising keeps the phones ringing. We have motorcycles coming in all the time and we will try hard to keep them posted on our “Show Room” page for you to see. We urge you to look at our inventory, find two or three bikes that interest you, then come out and take a ride. We are sure you’ll find the cycle you want to take home with you. If you already have a bike, but it’s not running or needs parts, bring it out because we do motorcycle repairs. We’ll get it running and looking great in no time. If your tires are needing replaced we can do that to. We usually have specials on front and back motorcycle tires most of the time. At Mid America Cycles & Recycles, we love everything about motorcycles!
