The most important change is on the Street 750, which, despite being a very capable and affordable cruiser from H-D, had brakes which weren't so confidence-inspiring. The 'made-in-India' Street 750 Dark Custom now gets better brakes, but commands a premium of almost Rs 20,000 over the previous model. ABS though, is still not offered, not even as an option. Interestingly, Harley-Davidson has discontinued the Super Low from its product line-up in India. A new, updated Super Low is expected later this year. Although not much is expected to change in terms of the powerplant, the new Super Low will get new suspension and an all-new frame. Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special (All Prices Ex-Showroom Delhi)Hi Kapil,The Harleys are a cult and now we can get these in India and if we talk about the Street 750, it is even made in India.

Yes, there were few issues regarding the brakes of Street 750 which is now been sorted out by HD in their 2016 lineup. So make sure you are going for the latest updated 2016 model of HD Street. As far as after sale service is concerned, yes, it is true that it is a little on the higher side but not to forget that you hardly go for a service like you do with your regular bike. The HD in Indian perspective is very good at after sale service, we have an ownership review of "HD Super Glide Custom", you can find out about the after sale service issues and the level of engagement with the customers HD people do in India in this review:Harley Davidson Super Glide Custom Ownership Review By Gurtej BindraThe 2015 model of HD Street 750 has breaking issues sorted out. But I would like to know more on why you chose HD Street 750? I was in the same boat about 6 months back. Let's say you're ready to invest 5-5.5L on the bike. From what I've heard, the servicing costs would be close to 10-15K per service.

HD parts are expensive. The bike isn't the smoothest bike in the market and the gear shifts are real hard. HD has been trashed in the social media for charging the customers way to much. There was a protest by the HD owners regarding this. It was also mentioned that they were charged 10K for a puncture. Not sure how true this is. My suggestion would be to go for the Ninja 650. One of the best bikes to live with and doesn't burn a hole in your pocket. Cheap service and you can trust the bike when you're out driving. My other suggestio would be to check the Benelli and Triumph Boneville T100. I'm not sure of their prices though! , which will give more info. The HD Street 750 is a beginners bike for small people. If you are ok with the ergonomy of your BMW R1100GS, one of BMW most reliable engines, you soon will hate this entrance level Harley, because of its size. A corean Hyosung motorcycle looks better. If you are tall or like to drive with your partner, go for a heavier H-D Dyna Street Bob, or Super Glide.
