That’s what I like about it,” he added.At Milwaukee-Harley Davidson, one of the events is called the Juli Moody Stunt Show, with Olympic gold medalist Juli Moody restraining four Harley-Davidson bikes, each pulling with more than 1,000 pounds of force in opposite directions.Moody, a powerlifting medal winner, made headlines when she held back two Harleys in a cloud of tire smoke from burning rubber.Now she’s stepped it up to four bikes.“When you get all four of them going, it looks like it will rip her limbs off,” said Chaz Hastings, owner of Milwaukee Harley-Davidson.The dealership has always pushed the boundaries when it comes to adult entertainment; with bikini-clad women serving drinks, an outdoor cigar bar and an outdoor pavilion for live music.At this rally, Milwaukee Harley-Davidson will have sword swallowers, fire breathers, fire eaters, fire nunchucks, fire whips and bikes shooting 10-foot flames.“

We just continually look for things that are crazy,” Hastings said.House of Harley-Davidson on Layton Ave. is kicking off its activities Wednesday night with a live taping of the outdoor grilling show "Mad Dog and & Merrill."A section of Layton Ave. will be closed off for the dealership’s vendors, and the live music will range from classic rock to modern country.“We have definitely amped up the entertainment side of the rally,” said Kristin Wacker, House of Harley’s marketing and events director.The dealership’s acts will include Grand Funk Railroad, Big Al Wetzel, Nordic Thunder and Josh Thompson.“You don’t necessarily need to be a biker … if you just love the music, this could be the event for you,” Wacker said.Wisconsin Harley-Davidson in Oconomowoc will have three music stages, 36 bands and four beer gardens.“The music will be nonstop on all three stages,” said Dianne Crowley, the dealership’s marketing manager.Hal’s Harley-Davidson has a bigger music stage for this year’s rally and a motorcycle stunt show.

Under new ownership, Hal’s also says it has the largest selection of model-year 2017 bikes of any dealership in the area.“Because we are considered a new store, we get a higher allocation for the first year,” said Carrie Schmidt, the dealership’s marketing manager.There’s a custom bike show this weekend at the Harley-Davidson Museum, plus other events there, and rally group rides.In addition to music and entertainment, this year’s rally will offer motorcyclists a chance to see the new Milwaukee-Eight engine on the 2017 touring bikes.Harley says it’s only the eighth time in the company’s 113-year history that it has done a complete redesign of its classic V-Twin engine.It is the biggest engine-product launch for the company since 1988, when the Twin Cam made its debut.Dealerships will have motorcycles available for test rides, but not necessarily all of the 2017 models.Harley-Davidson has made its fleet of new-model demo bikes available for rides at the Pilgrim Road engine plant.“
