Before he knew it, he’d made the transition to two-wheeled vehicles. Marcos’ first bike was a Harley-Davidson Softail that kept him happy for a few years, but eventually Marcos started seeing the limitations his Softail had. Marcos wanted a bike that would be more comfortable to ride, that he could do more with, and that could give him luxuries such as a sound system and saddlebags.

Basically he wanted a touring bike.In 2010, Marcos found what he wanted in the form of a 2006 Harley-Davidson Road King, that he quickly had painted black and built to his liking with a new seat and handlebars. As time passed, Marcos started seeing all the changes in trends and different things people were doing to their bikes. As a professional bike builder for Inland Empire Baggers, Marcos almost felt that he was obligated to rebuild his bike so that it not only fits in with the current trends, but also so it could also keep up with his customers’ bikes, so he decided to take his Road King apart and give it a complete makeover.Taking his Road King to Leo’s Auto Body, Marcos had side filler panels and bags added. Marcos then had the tank stretched, the saddlebags extended, and a custom molded rear fender and side covers added along with a set of custom 20-inch Carlini bars. After Leo’s Auto Body was done, Mike Lamberson over at Draggin’ Lines gave the bike a new paintjob along with some ghost lines and black micro sequence.

For the engine, Marcos added a Sinister Industries Up-Yours exhaust, Screamin’ Eagle intake, and got several pieces blacked out while A&B Polishing & Chrome over in Montclair, California, took care of chrome plating dutiesSince Marcos bought the Road King for a comfortable ride he had Evans Auto Care add a new saddle made from gray leather and black suede, while Marcos and his coworkers at Inland Empire Baggers put in a sound system comprised of Polk tweeters and Alpine PDX-F6 Except for the Mag wheels that Marcos decided to keep over from the previous iteration, Marcos’s Road King looks completely different than how it looked before. Marcos is way happier with it now because he believes it turns even more heads wherever it goes. Marcos would like to thank his family and friends for their love and support in this project as well as all his customers who gave him the opportunity to work on their bikes.
