I read the reviews on the Classic 1442's and took the plunge. Holy smokes am I glad that I did. It's got a taller heal than I like but man are these things are truly comfy. I used a leather conditioner (Lexol) and applied it 4 separate times to ensure a deep conditioning. Now they are as soft as my well broken in leather jacket. The renter must have a motorcycle endorsement on his/her driver's license. The renter must have a working knowledge of heavyweight motorcycles. Mileage is capped at 2500. A surcharge of $.25 per mile is incurred for every mile beyond 2500. A $2,000 security deposit is required at the time of rental. The deposit is authorized to a credit card. It is not actually charged unless the bike comes back with damage.
