It works great on my '08 Yamaha warrior, took some time to get it mounted and adjusted since there is no kit that works with the warrior, had to get the fork clamps and just make it fit. But once it was on, it offers great protection, had it painted and ordered the 9" ghost and the 12" windshield for better wind protection Batwing for Yamaha 650 classic
Really changes the looks of my 650 classic. Easy to install but have another person help you, it makes things so much easier. Will paint it since my bike is white. While not rocket science, SOME instructions would be helpful. You Tube video are lacking as well. Overall I like the product but feel it is over priced for what you get. I also am having an issue with missing pieces related to this same order. Great Fairing-looks good on the bikeOnly one issue- my headlight didn't line up with the fairing's headlight ring. So I had to do a little surgery on the fairing's plastic headlight ring so it would fit. Other than that, it went on without an issue! I have a Victory vegas 8 ball the faring has a large gap betwee the headlight and the bottom of the faring no adjustment left. The installation was anything but simple, problems with installing the brackets the screw wants to strip in the soft white metal. The turn signals had to be relocated not a favorable location.
Would not recomend this faring for this bike. Love my new batwing I purchased the fairing for my 2008 HD Heritage Softail Classic. I order the 9" windshield, wind deflectors, mounting kit and chrome trim. Was easy to install and fits perfect on my bike. It does a great job of blocking air. I will be taking the bike on 3 trips this summer and am glad I installed it. Highly recommend this product. I'm always hesitant to purchase products online because you cant see how they look and fit. This product fits perfect on my bike and easy to take off and put back on.I put a 9" windshield on and its perfect for someone 5'10 I highly recommend this product. The Batwing gave my Vulcan Nomad a whole different look. Very satisfied with this product would recommend it for any Motorcycle. Great Fairing Even For a HD Sportster! I didn't think this thing was worth the price when I got it all assembled. I put it on the bike and it looked like a great big accessory, that was until I got it painted.
I got my batwing fairing painted to match my HD 2004 sportster 1200C for $145. It matches the bike and looks good now. It only takes 15 seconds to snap this big fairing off my Sportster and be back to my around town setup, 15 secs later I can snap this back on for a long road trip or cold weather. I do not recommend the Memphis Shades 5" spoiler windshield. It buffets the wind and you feel like your head is in a paint shaker. Bike = 2004 HD Sportster 1200C I'll have to say I am more than pleased, totally changed, my ride looks and handles well. I was not sure at first but well worth the money. Installation was pretty simple and easy. Directions aren't as clear as I would like, but you figure it out. I bought the quick connect setup for this fairing and after I installed it, I took it out for a test ride. The difference is NIGHT & DAY. You definitely notice that the wind is significantly reduced and it's a more comfortable ride overall. I bought the 5" windshield with it and just love how it looks.
Just be sure to read and follow the directions when cleaning the fairing: use a warm soapy soft cloth/microfiber--NOT paper towels or windex-type cleaners. Batwing for Suzuki C50T Bought this Batwing a little over a year ago for my C50T. Fit was perfect, installation easy enough. That's where the good ends and the nightmare begins. Way too much wind buffet, far more then my Suzuki stock windshield. Added lowers, deflectors at the bottom of the Batwing, and finally the tallest windshield, and it almost equals the stock window. Now at 75-8o mph the thing flaps like a blanket. Took it back off for good and went back to the stock windshield. These DO NOT function on a Suzuki C50! fitted 750 Honda Shadow Aero Easy install, perfect fit, great enhancement accessory, yes I recommend it for this Shadow. Best accessories I've added so far, love it. Trigger lock came unlocked 200 miles into my trip. Can't go over 65 mph which is the same speed as before it was installed.
