I started my business because of my passion for motorcycles and racing. I won my first trophy by winning a flat track event with my Cushman motor scooter when I was 13 in 1949. Racing the motorcycles that I was selling was big fun, and I won a lot, which really helped sales and to spread the word about my Eddie Hill's Fun Cycles dealership.  Through the 60's and 70's  I raced just about every racer that we offered for sale. I did road racing, drag racing, short tracks both indoors and outdoors, scrambles, cross-country, and motocross.

But I also love fast cars and boats, and I had a dream and a goal of winning drag racing's national championships and being the overall fastest and quickest drag racer on land and water. By buying from us, my customers helped me to achieve that dream. And so far I am the only racer to have done that. Between the championships, record-setting, and the five halls of fame that have inducted me, it has certainly been the American dream for me -- and our Fun Cycles customers have certainly helped make it all possible. Of course, to have any business last as long as ours has, you have to take good care of your customers; and we are very proud of the way our family and employees have done that.  We have family and employees that have been with us for a very long time, one over forty years, and several between thirty and forty years. With annual sales now over seven million dollars, and fifty years of business at the same location, I hereby give our customers a huge and sincere THANK YOU!
