Alabama state troopers identified the victim as 60-year-old Wallace Berry Kelley. The crash happened about 10 p.m. on Alabama 257, also known as Curry Highway, one mile north of Jasper. Authorities said Kelley was driving a 1993 Honda motorcycle when it left the roadway and overturned. Kelley, troopers said, was thrown back into the roadway. While he was lying on the road, a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer struck Kelley. Kelley was pronounced dead on the scene just after 10 p.m. The driver of the Blazer, 18-year-old Logan Deon Ashley, of Nauvoo, wasn't injured.
