However, if you are a big guy like me who is built like a NFL defensive end this jacket failed miserably. It runs small to begin with and the center zipper is a design flaw. What happens if you land directly on the zipper? It is much more prudent to have full chest protection. For me the zipper broke within seconds of putting it on. Well not broke but couldn't stay clappsed and just pulled apart. All in all I would say this jacket looks cool and may work if you smaller in stature but if you have any size on you keep looking elsewhere. Fox Titan Sport Jacket I'm 5'9 and 135lbs. and the large fits me well. It's adjustable so that you can snug up the shoulder area or the armor on your arms so it fits you just right if your a 'skinny' guy like me. The only negative is the mesh in the front is short and impossible to stay tucked under the kidney belt, for that reason I usually wear a light t-shirt underneath it so I don't feel the hem on my stomach.

Besides the great upper body protection offered, when your moving, even slowly through a trail you can really feel the air-flow on your body almost like air-conditioning! The back/spine protector is huge and sticks way down for tailbone protection. It also sticks way up and sometimes interferes with my helmet when I want to look way up at a hillclimb or the like. Rarely an issue though. Best armour, great ventilation even in Queensland's hot weather. Mulled over which one to purchase for several weeks. Couldn't be happier with the choice. The quality is more than I had hoped for. Wear It All the Time in the Summer I use to use an armored jacket with a removable liner and vents but still found it too hot in the summer. There were times when I just went with a shirt but felt naked. I bought this and am extremely happy with it, almost feels like air conditioning and I have gotten so much great attention from the motorist (honks, thumbs up, etc) and the young kids must think I am a super hero. Anyway I got my protection and my coolness on those hot summer days in more ways than I thought. I've been using this on my street bike! It has great airflow for summer riding! Gets into the 100's here often so it was worth every penny. Fits snug, would recommend going up one size. A bit of a hassle to get off, but I don't even notice it when I'm riding! Would really recommend for a street rider.
