since the helmet itself was very angular and uneven. Bought this Mohawk and loving every minute of it. I love the look of the mohawk but my only gripe is that it would not stick with the built in stickies so I ended up using crazy glue which worked. I think the reason this wouldn't stick to my helmet is because my helmet has a matte feel/color and isn't glossy like other helmets. It will not stick to helmet. Followed all their instructions to the letter. I would not buy one of these unless you get the Velcro ones, but my helmet is not flat so I had to try this one and it was a bad choice. Pretty much, the main concern is the feathers being bent, and the ones from motorcycle-superstore were stiff and uniform enough. Not perfect, but still pretty good. I've had this on my helmet for a few months now, still holding strong. When I first received it I noticed the "hair" was falling off a little at both ends. I used silicon glue which my wife had and no more "hair" fell off at the ends.
I've gone higher speeds and still holding strong, I even got rained on once and still there Got exactly what I paid for. Holding up strong so far no complaints. Turns heads everywhere you go!!! get Hairy's mohawk instead..I bought a pink one and it would flip up a little off the velcro in the front, so I had to keep reapplying it...yesterday it flew off completely. Being in a group going at a high speed I couldn't turn around to get it and now I have to call the maker- Boo! The suction cups work way better. Awesome, certainly gets you noticed, and looks freaking awesome, sticks very well, had it on track to 170mph and had no problem with it at all. Looks awesome, my son loves it but it doesn't stand up straight and haven't tried it at high speeds but it doesn't seem to be staying on (sticking) very well. I have to keep reapplying it. I bought a pink mohawk and it's super bright! will get a lot of attention on the road that's for sure. My friend bought a blue one it's still very bright but doesn't stand out as much.
