2015 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in Photos The Pikes Peak course is broken into different segments allowing riders to fine tune their machines and minds. The Cycle World/Victory/RSD Project 156 machine features a prototype V-Twin engine designed and built by Polaris in Medina, Minnesota. Jude Monica rides an old Cannondale production motorcycle – a machine they made for a few years, before canning the program to instead focus on bicycles. A race through the clouds: competitors reach an elevation just over 14,000 feet at Pikes Peak. At Pikes Peak there is a racing class for virtually every kind of machine whether it be gas, or electric, on two wheels, or four. MotoGeo’s Jamie Robinson rode a 2015 Ducati Mutistrada 1200 S from California and competed on it during the 93rd running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The Cycle World Project 156 team is led by Roland Sands Design with the SoCal bike builder manufacturing a custom chassis around Polaris’ prototype V-Twin engine.

Randy Baxter – 1973 Triumph Hurricane Randy Baxter – 1938 Triumph Speed Twin Dozens of vendors showed up to display their wares and make deals.  Some very well stocked areas meant you could really go home with something special if you were looking. The Anamosa Hillclimb is an American Classic!  The 63rd Anamosa Hillclimb might have been threatened with rain, but that didn’t stop it from having a record turnout! for admission information, schedule and competition entry information. With a little over 40 riders we enjoyed a great ride along the rolling hills of eastern Iowa.  Along the rural highways and small towns that played host to the ride we were met with smiles and waves.  The ride was capped off with an awesome lunch at a new local spot called Teddy’s Barn and Grill, a restaurant in a beautifully remodeled 1950s barn.  With a great view of the surrounding area from their rooftop dining area we got to relax with a bunch of cool people before calling it a day.
