Just changed my Vstrom 1000 oil and used Silkolene for the first time. I haven't noticed a change in performance but time will tell. The cost is much less than bike store synthetics. Had to turn my clutch adjuster out 1 full turn, this stuff is super slippery I guess? Oil analysis reviews on Silkolene products have been very good, rates higher after 2k miles than Motul. Only drawback I see is the 10w in winter temps is like molasses, so i would be cautious in colder temperatures. Worth the extra dough. It's so-- not enough O's in smooooth. Not enough O's in smooth GREAT stuff, but pricey. Put it in my 2010 Z1000 and "old school" 1999 Su SV650. Noticeable improvement in both. My Bike Bleeds Red... I'm running this in my Triumph Tiger 1050 and the engine shifts noticeably smoother than it did with Repsol full-syn before it. My thermostat is also running cooler than before (it doesn't give specific temps, just a bar graph). Right now I see no reason to switch oils, and Silkolene is race proven so just knowing that instills confidence.

Plus, having a Brit bike means dealing with leaks so at least now my bike will bleed red! Absolutely 100% recommended but price is to high. Lower your price and you will put every oil company out of business. I was a little shocked at the red color. I notice no difference in shifting smoothness. Liter bottles are super since my British Hinckley Triumph holds exactly 4 liters or I guess 4.4 US quarts. My Triumph dealer also uses Silkolene in all his Triumph oil changes Been using this in the track bikes for several years now. Holds up very well to the engine abuse and hard riding conditions. I didn't think it would make that much of a difference...i was wrong. It shifts so much more smoother now it's unreal. Engine runs a bit hotter than with Motorex synthetic In the summertime, my engine ran at about 180 degrees F with Motorex synthetic. In the wintertime, my engine runs at about 185 degrees F (similar riding) with Silkolene synthetic. This what you should put in your sportbike if you truly care about it. Going to track days with my '03 R6, knowing oil is not a problem. Great for triumph daytona Changed oil in my 09 daytona 675 from mobile 1 4t 15-50w to this silkoline 15-50w and what a difference. Made engine, shifting, and clutch very smooth. After a couple hundred miles seems like very good oil so far. Great Oil for the GSX-R750 I have been using Silkolene for the last 4,000 miles and have noticed improved shifting performance. No oil consumption and holds up well even with a couple of track days thrown in. Silkolene - 4T Pro-4 First time using this product so I don't have much to say right now about it.
