Both are all new for 2017 with features designed to push each to the front of the pack.∙ The new Unicam engine with a straight downdraft air intake produces increased power and torque across the rev range.∙ Due to customer feedback, the SFF (Separate Functioning Forks) have been replaced by coil spring Showa 49 mm A-Kit forks with a less complicated adjuster on the top of the tubes. (While Dave really liked the SFF set-up and thought they made for a better handling motocrosser, he thinks the new spring A-Kit forks are going to work better for a lot of riders.)∙ A lighter swingarm assembly and aluminum chassis lowers the center of gravity and reduces weight thereby offsetting the additional weight of the spring forks. The titanium gas tank helps reduce weight, too!∙ Electric start as an option on the R model and standard on the RX model!         Dave is really excited about the new CRF450R and CRF450RX models. So excited that he thinks either one could be bike of the year.

Tech-Care Motocross Rider Training & Suspension Seminar 1975 Honda Elsinore on Display at Legends and HeroesA 1975 Honda Elsinore 125 motocross race bike, currently owned by Terry Mohr, was selected to represent at the 2017 Legends and Heroes ceremony at the recent Supercross races in San Diego. Tommy Croft got the award and racers like Brad Lackey, Goat Brecker, and Marty Smith were n the podium with Croft and the bike. (see pictures to left and below.) Mohr, who has been friends with Dave since high school and recently acted as Dave's Crew Chief at the Vet MX Championships at Glen Helen, restored the bike a couple of years ago. My nephew and as close to a son as I have Johnathon Donnelly passed last night. He was my nephew my friend and more then family. I will miss him more then I could ever explain.
