Long story short: Standard AN= 300°to350°F Teflon= 450°to500°F Moral of the story, Always do your homework, and don't believe everything you hear, or read online.... It's good to over 2000psi. It withstands any ch...We;ve used them for fuel lines, turbo oil feeds, car and bike brake lines, my methanol system, etc. They go together pretty easy as you'll see. And once you do it, they last forever! It doesnt have to be perfectly unfrayed ends like standard AN hose. Slide threaded end over hose facing proper direction. Make SURE you do it before you peel the stainless back or it wont go on and your cutting the hose again. Step3-Use a skinny screw driver to peel the stainless away from the teflon inner hose so you can get the brass ferrule on.

Step4-Put brass, or possibly aluminum ferrule on teflon inner hose. Its snug so give it a good push. Step5-Make sure there are no burrs in the teflon or next step wont work. Step6-Insert the actual hose end into teflon inner hose all the way. Step7-Pull threaded end you slipped on in step 2 up to the hose end Step8-Thread them together and tighten all the way. Another reason not to look for the cheapest deal, especially when it comes to your fuel system.
