This weekend course is designed to provide new riders with the manoeuvring, collision avoidance and defensive driving techniques they will need to obtain an M2 class licence. Most of the course hours are done outside on a great variety of motorcycles provided. The M2 licence test (done on site) is included. You will also learn: balancing and braking, collision avoidance, emergency braking, emergency techniques, correct gear changing, signals and shoulder checks, cornering, road riding, cold starting, pattern riding, and clutch operation and control synchronization.
Students MUST have a valid M1 licence at time of course. Proper riding gear mandatory: leather footwear over the ankle, jeans, gloves, heavy jacket (min. denim) and DOT helmet. All participants are required to sign a waiver on the first day of class.
