A La Habra motorcycle dealership was burglarized Tuesday and three men were arrested in an ensuing police chase, which ended in Watts.

The burglary at Moto United at 321 E. Imperial Highway was reported at 1:09 a.m., said La Habra Police Sgt. Ron Hurst. Officers in the area spotted two vehicles, a large U-Haul truck and a sedan, leaving the dealership and go separate ways, Hurst said. The sedan was stopped in La Mirada and the driver was taken into custody while the U-Haul was also pursued, Hurst said. The truck stopped in the 2200 block of 115th Street in Watts, where the occupants bailed from the vehicle. Officers detained two men, but a third remains at large, he said. The U-Haul is in police custody. A witness at the scene in La Habra told City News Service he was repossessing a car in the area when he noticed the suspects loading motorcycles into the U-Haul and saw a car believed to be a lookout vehicle circling the block. The man said he called police and believes the men stole eight to 10 bikes. He added that they broke a window to gain entry into the dealership and that the suspects left one motorcycle hanging halfway out the window when they fled.
