April 20th, 2015 (Chicago, IL) – Buzzfire, Inc., “Buzzfire,” announced today that its President and CEO, Randy Zahora, will be riding on the 21st Kyle Petty Charity Ride. Mr. Zahora said, “This will be my 16th year I have participated on the charitable ride. The annual ride raises funds and awareness for Victory Junction, a camp created by the Petty family to enrich the lives of children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses, and I am blessed to participate again this year.” The route for the 21st anniversary Kyle Petty Charity Ride has been announced. The yearly motorcycle ride benefiting Victory Junction will take place May 2-8, 2015, and take 200 riders from Santa Cruz, California, to Branson, Missouri. After kicking off in Santa Cruz, the 2,500-mile route will make stops in Bakersfield, California; and Hutchinson, Kansas before ending in Branson. Mr. Zahora will then ride from Branson, MO to his home in the western suburbs of Chicago logging over 3,500 miles in his eight day journey.

“Each year, we select a route that’s full of breathtaking scenery, while also allowing us to spread the word and build excitement around our mission along the way,” said Kyle Petty. “Year after year, the Ride creates lasting memories for our riders, most importantly, it provides life-changing opportunities for children at Victory Junction.” The ride has allowed 7,815 children to attend Victory Junction free of charge. This year’s riders include NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Richard Petty, Joe Gibbs Racing’s Matt Kenseth, former drivers Harry Gant and Donnie Allison, former NFL player Herschel Walker, Harley-Davidson, Inc. president and chief executive officer Matt Levatich, and NASCAR personalities Rick Allen and Rutledge Wood. “When Kyle started this Ride 21 years ago, I don’t think any of us realized just how special it would become,” said Richard Petty. “Riding across our beautiful country on two wheels with great friends and family is incredible, but knowing you’re doing it to help others makes it the ride of a lifetime.”

Crowley's Ridge and the Great River Road The Great River Road follows the Mississippi River from Minnesota to Louisiana. Arkansas' 362-mile-long section of the road travels through small towns in the alluvial plain known as the Delta. The northern section of the Great River Road in Arkansas runs 198 miles along Crowley's Ridge from the Missouri border to Helena. Crowley's Ridge Parkway National Scenic Byway passes through farmland, orchards and St. Francis National Forest.

The Delta Cultural Center in Helena celebrates the region's blues music history. U.S. 71 and U.S. 62 U.S. 71, once the only highway between Louisiana and Missouri in the western part of Arkansas, connects Texarkana in the south with Bentonville in the north. Traffic on the route north of Fort Smith is light since the building of Interstate 540. The curvy road hugs ridge tops and makes steep descents, passing through small towns and beside farmland. In Rogers, U.S. 62 heads east to Eureka Springs, winding through deep forest and up and down mountains. The Fort Smith to Rogers section of the ride is about 80 miles long. From Rogers to Eureka Springs is another 35 miles. Ozark Highlands Scenic Byway The stretch of Highway 21 between Highway 64 in Clarksville and the Buffalo National River in Newton County winds through the Boston Mountains range of the Ozarks. About 35 miles long, the highway offers panoramic valley views, glimpses of abandoned homesteads and the occasional bear or eagle sighting.
