Here are some frequently asked questions; What student to instructor ratio do you operate with? ART have no more than 2 students to an instructor at any one time. One to one can also be provided. This ensures a better quality of instruction. Are there any hidden costs that will be charged when I turn up for my training? Simple answer - No! All of our prices and duration of training are clearly stated on our website detailing what is included. We do not charge any surprise fees for damage waivers, equipment hire or fuel. The new barriers work on number plate recognition. Patients and visitors will need to go to a payment machine before returning to their car, and enter their vehicle registration number. The payment system will then ask for the appropriate charge, which can be paid by cash or by credit/debit card. With 1600 spaces, the multi-storey car park at Basildon University Hospital was a massive investment.  Built in direct response to requests for improvements to parking, from local people, it cost £8 million. To fund this, and the continued maintenance of the other car parks at Basildon University Hospital, The Essex Cardiothoracic Centre and Orsett Hospital, charges for patients and visitors are:

No charge for parking. How do I pay for parking? The barriers work on number plate recognition. The number plate recognition system will log your vehicle registration number and raise the barrier as you enter the car park.
