I recently worked over my front forks and installed a larger fuel tank and this stand lifts and holds the bike nicely. Because this DR650 is lowered it doesn't work well with an attached center stand so I needed one that easily lifts the bike. I have not yet tried changing the oil but this stand does not lend easily to that due to the solid base, but I am sure I will find a way.

Even if you’ve been riding for some time, there’s always something new to learn. You’ll practice improving riding skills, learn how to balance the mental and physical aspects of managing risk, increase visibility and optimize your lane position. This course also provides valuable information about protective gear, motorcycle inspection and care. Plus, some insurance companies provide a discount. Be sure to ask your agent. Some motorcycle brand-sponsored clubs have programs to reimburse you for all or part of the tuition paid towards your Course. Street – Advanced RiderCourse (ARC) Techniques that extend beyond basic riding procedures are addressed in this Course. The ARC is the public version of the Military SportBike RiderCourse (MSRC), and may be taken by riders using any type of motorcycle.

It is a one-day course consisting of approximately 3 ½ hours of classroom and 4 ½ hours of riding. The techniques used for more performance oriented riding can be used to enhance the skills and techniques for riders of any type of motorcycle. These techniques can improve the overall capabilities of riders, particularly related to overall control, cornering and emergency maneuvers. Street – Returning Rider RiderCourse (RRBRC) The one-day RRBRC is designed for the returning rider. A returning rider is someone who has had previous experience operating motorcycles and is returning to the activity, or who has been riding for some time without obtaining and endorsement. The objectives of this course include refining basic motorcycle skills and gaining more knowledge of risk, including how to manage risk while riding. Riders are expected to be familiar with and able to operate basic motorcycle controls. These skills include the ability to use the clutch and throttle to get the motorcycle in motion, stopping the motorcycle in a designated area, negotiating normal roadway turns and curves, and smooth shifting.
