I've come up with a mid valve system which can be tuned by removing or adding shims plus you can adjust how tight the shim stac...k sits off the face of the piston , end result is a much more controlled midvalve allowing the fork to sit up when it should then under bumps the midvalve will allow the fork to move under more control helping prevent blow through

, also means air pressure can be reduced slightly Second mod is Yamaha WR base valve used on the older open chamber fork , because this fork typically has a harsh feel to it so KYB fitted a base compression valve with a spring which basically allows oil to blow strait through it , giving the WR a smoother ride with absolutely no bottoming resistance A simple spacer and new valving shim stack .
