Doesn't matter your age, gender or level of experience.  We are not into bar hopping or being reckless. This group was formed to be both family friendly and safe, with events that you would not be afraid to bring you children to. There isn't much that will get you banned from our group, but do something that would offend your Mama, get drunk, or ride unsafe and YOU'RE GONE! We will have weekly gatherings during the season and plan weekend rides. We will try to do one medium to long ride a month. We support and participate in many different charities and motorcycle related events. Come join us and share your love of the open road.  Piedmont Riders requires annual membership dues of $10.00 per rider. website as well as other costs associated with running a group like this. Therefore we encourage riders interested in riding with us to become a paid Member after 2 rides/events.

(Note: this two ride/event requirement is mandatory. We want time for you to get to know us, and us to get to know you. Please do not try to pay your dues before the two ride/events are up. We will not accept your dues until you have had your two ride/events. If you want to discuss this, see James or Bill. We will be glad to explain it to you. * 'Dues' enables us to have a fund from which we can pay for hotel/motel reservations (for overnight trips). Of course, these funds are replaced by the members who actually go on these rides. * 'Dues' enables us to purchase items (such as equipment or training materials) that benefit the *entire* group. * 'Dues' enables YOU the paid member access to RIDE WITH GPS's Premium features (a $45 value). This is where we keep our library of routes we ride so you can see the route and ride it at any time with turn by turn directions (like google but better!!). * 'Dues' provide you free access to our annual "No U-Turns BBQ" ride and food event.

There will be a great time had at this event. A great ride, great food and as always great fellowship with other riders.  Without these dues (as a starting point) many of the things we do as a group would not be feasible. And, not to belabor the point, but major purchases are always discussed at our monthly meets prior to actual expense.
