The week leading up to the swap meet was mild and windy. The gates opened Thurs. afternoon at 2 PM with everyone in the grounds and set up by 7 PM. Friday morning was cool, windy, with sun coming out in the afternoon. Both Sat. and Sunday were sunny with temps in upper 60's to near 70. The number of vendors was about the same as compared to other years mainly because the weather was better. On Friday and Sat. the crowds were great and Sunday was very good also. Folks from many states and Canada attended the swap meet. The Board of Directors would like to thank every one for attending! For more 2017 swap meet photos, click HERE NO VENDOR ADMITTANCE TO PARKING LOT UNTIL NO ENTRANCE CHARGE TO SPECTATORS ATM machine on the grounds Gate opening for vendors will be a based on weather, traffic, and public safety issues, a decision will be made to open the gates SOMETIME BETWEEN 10 A.M. and 5:30 P.M. on THURSDAY. Announcements regarding opening time will be made on radio station KCHK, 1350 AM or 95.5 FM LISTEN LIVE

Every attempt will be made to give vendors a couple hours notice before we open the gates, but vendors should be aware that weather and ground conditions may dictate opening on short notice. Even though gates may open several hours earlier than normal, please be reminded that we request: NO ADVANCE OR EARLY SELLING BEFORE FRIDAY!! Please comply with our request. be asked to leave. PLEASE NOTE THAT INSIDE VENDORS, WHO ALREADY HAVE RESERVED INSIDE SPACES, WILL BE ALLOWED ENTRANCE AT 8 A.M. THURSDAY Want to rent a golf cart for the swap meet or show? MUST BE 16 YRS OR OLDER TO DRIVE A GOLF CART THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED! No roping off of empty spots in vendor staging area to hold for a vehicle in event of "drop and go", bring another vehicle to return home but leave truck hooked to trailer. No laying out of items and selling in staging area (vendor parking lot). Please be at your vehicle by at least 10 AM Thursday morning.

We will leave vendors in until it gets dark and then shut the gates, and then open again at 6:00 AM Friday morning. Still no selling until Friday morning and spectators are asked to stay away until 8:00 AM on Friday morning, that way the congestion in the parking lot will be down to a minimum. 2017 Vendor prices are as follows: $50 Charge for outside space, if you need an oversize space, please consider paying double. $60 For inside space, paid in advance with registration. Inside spots sell out every year, so best is to check with Nancy if any are available. Registration Building: As soon as you arrive please come to the building and get registered. Register your golf cart, lawn mower or handicap vehicle at the counter just inside the front door. Vendor registration is against the back wall. Be sure to grab a cup of coffee and cookie. (Check back soon for new poster) ABSOLUTELY NO ROPING OFF The only vehicles allowed on the grounds will be golf carts, lawn mowers with decks removed or not wider than rear wheel base, and handicap scooters. These vehicles need to be registered at the gate and show insurance information. Other vehicles allowed will be club officials. Golf carts will be available to rent on the grounds, click HERE for more info. Not allowed to be driven on the grounds will be: 3 and 4 wheelers scooters, dirt bikes, motorcycles and bicycles. IF YOU NEED MORE ROOM TO LAY OUT YOUR SWAP MEET DISPLAY, PLEASE PAY DOUBLE or TRIPLE. THIS WAY WE FEEL IT MAKES IT FAIR FOR THE VENDORS COMING WITH A SMALL PICKUP OR A LARGE SEMI-TRAILER RIG.
