Our Novice Only Track Days allow anyone to experience the thrill of riding on a race track without the pressure of being surrounded by more experienced circuit riders. If you have never taken part in a track day before, or you have only taken part in a few events, then a Novice Only day is a great place to start. The Novice stipulation is in reference to the rider, not the machine. Most Novice riders arrive on their road bikes; however, some have already acquired track bikes. Others borrow a friend's racing bike just to dip their toe in the water. In every case, they are all Novice circuit riders. The day will include: Turn-in and apex cones to help you master the track effectively Limited number of bikes on circuit Experienced instructors on hand offering advice and one to one tuition on circuit Off-circuit classes during the day covering riding techniques and body positioning and answering your questions Please note: our Novice Only Trackdays are for riders who have little or no experience.

Race licence holders are not permitted and will be refused entry without refund or credit. If none of the dates on our Novice Only calendar suit you then you might want to consider attending one of our in the Novice group. These are listed in the calendar below under Novice Sessions. Set on a massive site that straddles the counties of Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire, the GP circuit at Silverstone is equally massive. It has recently been redeveloped to make it more friendly for the MotoGP brigade and consists of 3.6 miles of ultra fast straights and every sort of corner.  Even the most casual of motorsport fan will be familiar with the names of Maggotts, Copse, Stowe, Club etc...  Although not overly physical, you definitely get a mental workout on this long track with several corners strung together and concentration is a must to avoid being caught out by the direction changes. Silverstone is the widest circuit in the UK at 15m, and you'll use all of this width as you complete your lap.  A 1000cc bike here will really get a good run out, but a 600cc is enormous fun through the technical sections. It's impossible to mention Silverstone without mentioning its prestigious history and still the circuit remains at the forefront of world motorsport. It's no surprise therefore that the paddock facilities are superb and spectators are well catered for.
