Recently put them on my F650GS and rode the Hatfield and McCoy trail systems for 3 days. These tires did very well. On the rocky trails they held very well and I only lost one pea sized chunk off one of the center knobs. They worked very well in the lose dirt from freshly groomed trails.

On the street they are very stable. So far I'm very happy with them on my F650GS. Hooked up way better than expected on pavement,as good as any nobby I've ever run in the dirt, only complaint, doesn't last long on rear, but I do like to use the throttle on my hopped up lc4. Already have new one waiting to replace old one!Put these tires on before a dual sport ride. Did great on wet pavement, was not trying to drag pegs, but still had no loss of confidence in traction. Saved me from going down in slick clay mud multiple times. Rear hooked up very well. Handled gravel well too. Wore a bit quickly, but great tires.Great tires for street and dirt Excellent grip in the dirt. Great feedback through the the gears and still able to slide it around. Installed on front as well. Great traction on the road as well. (Long Island , NY) Great tire for all around riding Came on my ktm 690 r I have 4000 miles on them with maybe 1000 left. Ride it every day. TRY to stay out of the throttle.

Way better then expected on road. Can all but drag pegs before sliding on pavement. A little loose in sand. No problems anywhere else other then in rain and high winds. Like I said, every day. Great hookup in almost all conditions. Perfect tire for the KTM 690 These come mounted on the new 690's... that should tell you something. I tried many combinations and brands on my 08 690E and the MT21's are hands down the best for DS.
motorcycle stores in warner robins gaI have ridden the CDR and COBDR with these tires and would have no other.
american ironhorse motorcycles for sale in texasPlenty of miles left in a set after either of these treks.

Some brands make the front end squirrely at high speed, but not the MT21. They are quite good on the road at any reasonable lean angle. Great on and off road traction. Used on a 2009 Aprilia 550sxv. These things really bite! A little on the soft side and they take a beating on rocky trails, but man do they hook up. First set went 1,800 miles. I have used these for extended dual sport rides for years. A few years back I enjoyed over 5,000 miles on a 140/80x18 on my Suzuki DR350se.
motorcycles for sale at three legged crossNever had a flat and been okay with the overall performance.
motorcycles for sale oxnard caHowever, it seems that the compounds used today are not as durable as in the past, thus 4,000 is about it with the same size tire on the same bike.
motorcycles for sale bethesda

On remote rides it can become a huge issue- nowhere to find a replacement. These are mounted on a Husqvarna TR650. I cannot complain about the performance and grip of these tires off road. The on road performance is what I would expect from an aggressive dual sport knobby tire. The rear tire does not last long over the sharp desert rocks but they are inexpensive. I have about 700 miles on them currently and will at best get another 300 miles out of the rear tire.
big dog motorcycles east peoria ilThe front may last another 3000-4000 miles...looks new. Couldn't believe the miles I got - KTM 690ER Many people say these tires wear quickly, but I got 5,100 miles out of the front and 3,900 miles for the rear. It is probably significant to note that I'm a fairly conservative rider and never have been a tire-shredder. Works great on pavement, gravel, dirt, rocks, etc.. Hooks up well in all dry conditions.

No experience in the wet stuff. I've just spooned on another set to see whether my initial experience is repeatable. Recently spooned on a couple of these, front and rear, to ride the AZBDR. The route consisted of everything from asphalt, paved country roads, 2-track, rock gardens and skree fields. I couldn't be happier with the way the MT1s performed. They replace a Kenda 270 front and Heidenau K60 rear. Without the MT21s, there are numerous places that I would simply have gone down due to lack of traction particularly in slow sweeping 110 deg switchbacks in loose gravel/rocks. I bought these tires to replace my stock "DEATHWINGS" on my DRZ400S. Great traction off road. Works great on road as well. I ride a lot of gravel roads and these tires offer a lot more traction than my stock tires. No more uncomfortable feeling when I'm off road. Well worth the money! Cheaper than stock tires and much safer too!! So I bought this tire used, and I trail ride and the first tire I had on were Sedona MX887's.
