It had developed a nasty knocking and I was very concerned that repair costs would be prohibitive. It also needed an annual service and MOT. I chose Hi Q In Bury St Edmunds as I went there last year for new tyres and was impressed with the good service. I was impressed with the initial response to my telephone enquiry, which was both courteous and helpful, enabling me to book my car in promptly for diagnostics and repair work. The gentleman (Harley) who dealt with me both on the telephone and in person was brilliant. The service provided was efficient, courteous, informed and reassuring. Although the final bill was fairly hefty due to some major repairs, service and MOT, I was actually pleasantly surprised as I had expected it to be more.

I would say the costs represented good value. The quality of service was excellent; friendly, informative and professional. This was a really pleasant experience compared to other garages I have used over the years. Well done to Hi Q and especially to Harley at Bury St Edmunds for providing excellent value-for-money service and for keeping my aged Clio going! A worrying and potentially very expensive episode was genuinely made pleasant. I will definitely visit again. I recently brought my wife's car in for a service and MOT. The garage and the customer waiting room were spotlessly clean and tidy, the staff were courteous and efficient and also extremely helpful. They called me to discuss various issues, all of which were resolved the same day. The prices were very reasonable and fully explained by the staff. They ordered a tyre which arrived and was fitted the following day. I can honestly say that everything about HiQ in Bury was perfect and I have never visited a better garage in forty years of driving.

We will definitely be back! I called for a quote on tires for my VW Golf GTI and was given a fair quote for my car. I was able to make an appointment that day and had all 4 tires replaced within 30-45minutes. They even taught me how to replace my headlight bulbs. The shop was clean and organised, no funny smells or horseplay in the shop. I will be going back for all my car servicing needs and will recommend any friends and family to this establishment. Great service and helpful freindly staff ,I using 10 year ago the services they always explaned what was wrong ,I satisfield and very recommend all drivers? I came here for a full service and MOT, excellent service and even got a complimentary hot chocolate BONUS!! All the guys are really friendly and know their stuff, would highly recommend! Have used HiQ for a few years now mainly for tyres, and always found there prices as good as anyone.I visited today for exhaust problems with my wifes Micra.I phoned Nick at HiQ yesterday, and he gave price for the worst senario,but would only do whats necessary.

Visited today and they said only the back box and flange gaskets were needed.Unfortunatley the new box was a different make and they had to alter things for box to mate up with front box.It caused quite a lot of work for fitter, but got there in the end.Nick kept me informed of everything going on and was very impressed with this.It would probably been easier to fit both boxes but they only fitted what was needed.
