However, it could be difficult for some people. The park ranger warned everyone on the difficulty before starting the tour. At each stop, she waited for... It's a nice trip uphill to the top of the mountain, some steep parts are in it.

On the top you have a nice view over Kennesaw and if the sky is clear also over Atlanta. A nice museum where you can read and see a lot about the battle on Kennesaw Mountain Another place my parents took us as kids that I wanted to share with my son. This is a historical battlefield from the Civil War. There is a small but nice museum and a hike or drive to the top of the mountain for a great scenic view and descriptions of the battles fought there and it's role in the... This is a must visit if you come to Georgia! This is a gorgeous hike with bits of history throughout! We try to get out here as often as possible for the beauty of it. Great exercise and civil war history location. Used by most locals as a hiking mountain. Great for families and athletes. Besides walking up the mountain trials, there are many wooded hiking trials around the base. This location has grills and great for picnics. It is very safe and clean! This is a gem of history tucked up in the ridge between Marietta and Kennesaw!
