Sometimes the most fun to be had is in anticipating the event, and Halloween is no exception! Not to mention, the candy is pretty tasty, too!Flashlight SilhouettesShadows puppets are lots of fun, but have you ever made a silhouette of a spooky ghost, skull, or a flying vampire bat? They look really cool either as a decoration for Halloween or to play with against a big wall. Just follow these easy steps and you'll have that bat shadow zooming around the house in no time!Step 1: This is everything you need for this project. Use our printouts, some plain lunch bags, a pair of scissors, some tape or glue, and a flashlight, or some other source of light.

Step 2: Carefully cut out the silhouette. If you have younger crafters, parents can do that for them. It's up to you how detailed you want to get. You can cut out the basic shape or every bit of white for a more detailed silhouette.Step 3: Next, cut out a small square on the bottom of your lunch bag. We usually made a small hole first to get started.Step 4: Find where your silhouette will meet the bag edges and either tape or glue those. True to do it so the majority of the edge of the cutout is still exposed. Step 5: With the flashlight inside, you can see how the bat lights up (which is kind of awesome on its own)!Step 6: When you point this at the wall you'll see a fun silhouette of the shape you made. Try different light sources or flashlight angles to get the best effect.Lollipop GhostsThis one is pretty easy. Turn any old sucker or lollipop you got lying around into a spooky ghost! These look great in groups you can display in a piece of foam, or just hand them out on Halloween as treats.

Spooky delicious, that is.Step 1: Here is everything you'll need for this project… a couple of tissues, a lollipop or sucker, pipe cleaner, and a black marker.Step 2: Make a star with your tissues one on top of the other and place a sucker in the middle.Step 3: Wrap the pipe cleaners (whichever colors you like) around the bottom of the sucker so it looks like a bow tie.Step 4: Draw eyeballs on the "head" of your ghost. You can do little dots like we did or make big cartoon eyes. It's totally up to you!Step 5: Here he is! He's all ready to say boo to your guests, kids, or anyone who is in need of a sugar rush.Yummy PumpkinsHave you ever made a jack-o-lantern? Then you probably know the horrors that lurk inside the pleasant outer rind of a pumpkin. The inside of a real pumpkin is disgusting… it’s got goopy, stringy nastiness, seeds, and not a great scent. So, you can see why our lovely paper pumpkins are far better. They have candy inside! Far better than a real pumpkin, and they're really easy to make.

Just follow the steps below.Step 1: Okay, here's what you need ... a handful of candy, some orange tissue paper, and some green pipe cleaners, or green tape, whichever you prefer.Step 2: Fold a couple pieces of your tissue paper into a roundish square shape. Step 4: Take the pipe cleaner and cut it in two. You'll want three legs in the end.Step 5: Wrap the pipe cleaner around the stick, and angle the feet into an "M" shape. It gives the spider an extra buggy look. Do this until you have 6 legs (from 3 pipe cleaners).Step 6: Place eyes on the back of the spider with a little adhesive. You can draw the eyes like we did and use a little bit of double sided tape, or if you have googly-Eyes from a previous craft project those work as well.
