Since the tragedies that occurred in Boston on Marathon Monday 2013, we have been reaching out to all local law enforcement agencies and inviting them to join the ride. As you all know, Officer Sean Collier of the MIT Police Department was shot and killed while on duty by the same cowards responsible for the Boston bombings. One of Officer Collier’s strongest passions was supporting the Jimmy Fund and all they do. We love seeing the heavy police turnout, year after year, to honor Officer Collier and help support the cause he believed in so deeply.
