Bridgestone Spitfire Sport Touring tires Bought them for my BMW R90/6 on a friend's suggestion who also has them on a BMW airhead - because of good combination of mileage, appearance, and cost.
used harley davidson for sale bangalore Best Vintage Wing Tire
bulletproof motorcycle jacket I've owned my 1977 Gl1000 for 36 years now.
dot pilot motorcycle helmetI bought it in 1980 with 4,500 miles on it. The S11 is the only tire I even consider. I keep a close eye on my tire pressure and I have consistently gotten 14,000 miles on the last four S-11 rears I've bought. The S-11 is the perfect tire for my vintage Wing. After all, it came from the factory with bias-ply Bridgestone tires when it was brand new 39 years ago.

In my opinion, the Honda engineers came up with an almost perfect motorcycle for me, so they also knew what they were doing when they decided to put Bridgestone rubber on it. Why experiment when you're already straddling near perfection? Bridgestone S11 Spitfire tireBought the front last year and liked it so much I bought the rear tire this year. Good price and great customer service from motorcycle superstore. I have purchased and installed three of these tires for my 79 Moto Guzzi 1000. I have been very happy with the handling, ride, wear and traction. I have not had it slip on any turns except in a little gravel. The Guzzi handles very well and I push it as hard as I feel comfortable. I double caution signs in Ark plus 5 and all is good. Tried BT 45 and Pirelli Sport Demon but they would wear out prior to 5k. Getting between 8 and 9k with S11. I went tubeless which keeps tire temp down which will increase tread life. Could probably go longer but afraid to be out on a long trip and skunk my rear like a friend has a few times.

Expensive if you have to get it changed while on a trip. Tires get stripes on them when you get to the cords. This is a great tire that I have used for years on my BMW Airheads. Good traction and tread life. Motorcycle Superstore shipped the tire promptly and as always had good service. S11 spitfire high mileage ? With over 1,500,000 miles on motorcycles I still average over 50,000 miles a year, after reading other peoples ratings I ordered a few of these for my 2015 riding season, hoping to be able to replace the old Dunlop touring elite II , which is no longer in production , high mileage tire. Realisticly in NORMAL riding ,on an older lite weight BMW airhead , expect to get about 9,000 to 10,000 miles out of the REAR S11 spitfires (Des Moines , IA) Great tire & excellent service I just ordered my 2nd rear. I stayed with the Spitfire due to the excellent mileage I got with the first - between 18,000 and 19,000 miles over 2.5 years. I think I got my money's worth.

I ride year-round and have never felt unstable on this tire. The new tire got to my house the next day - That's Motorcycle Superstore's service for you. Great tire but why no white lettering available?? These are great tires but I'll admit I mainly bought them because they are the only matching front and back set and can find for my bike in the correct size. (79 CB 750 F). But only gripe is that you cannot get the rear tire with white lettering whereas you can with the front! What's up with that?? S11 Spitfire end of life review I'm still fairly new to riding. This was the first set of tires I put on my bike, replacing an old, dry, bald set. I've never had any handling issues, either dry or wet. I'm ready for a new rear at about 18,000 miles (a little over 2 years). I can't think of any reason to go away from this tire and it will still match the front. These tires made my old Goldwing ride like butter. Granted, the ones I took off were trashed but these Bridgestones exceeded my expectations.

They ride very smoothly and they are very very round (I know... I know - but that's something to brag about when compared to some other tires I've tried!) I would recommend them highly. I bought this tire for a Honda cx500 and it is a remarkable tire so far, although I haven't ridden in the rain yet because it's been so dry this year. I would recommend being extra cautious of concrete During the first 50-100 miles, as the tire breaks in because that was the only time I lost traction and almost rear ended a car was about 5 miles after changing the tire on a concrete bridge. Also, this tire is stiffer than my last tire, although that isn't saying much, DO NOT exceed 35psi. So far they have been great while riding on highways but not the best in the corners, not to say that they are horrible they're ok, but you can tell this is not their intended purpose. I would recommend getting sport tires if you like going as fast as possible through corners. I just had these put on my 1974 Honda Cb550k and am totally impressed.
