When the first Norton motorcycle, the 'Engerette', rolled out of the original Birmingham England factory in 1902, it  was the birth of  a lineage of motorcycles that shapes  the  motorcycle  scene  to  this  day.  It  is  fitting  that  the  new  factory  and  world headquarters  of  Norton  are  based  at the spiritual centre of British motorsport, the famous Donington Park  Grand  Prix  Circuit, so near the traditional heart of the British motorcycle industry in Birmingham. We have just received a shipment of these new bikes into Canada, and there are a number of enhancements that improve the bikes performance. While that was really good news, the best news was that we were able to include 3 Dominator;s in the shipment (as in the photo at the top of the page), and while they look fantastic in the pictur...es, they are an absolute work of art up close. All the new Domi's have gone off to their new owners who should be getting them this week.

While most of the other bikes in this shipment went off to new owners across the country, we have a couple left in our warehouse. See allNorton Motorcycles Canada Ltd...under the heading "Better late than never" we wanted to provide an update from this years Production Tourist Trophy event on the Isle of Man (the IOM TT), David Johnson was riding for Norton at the 2016 event on Saturday June 4th in the RST Superbike event, and placed 7th overall, with a time of 1:46:56 and a average lapspeed of 127 mph. This was just under 3 minutes off the time of the race leader Michael Dunlop. Stuart Garner, owner of Norton Motorcycles (UK) was thrilled at the opportunity, and gave his production team the go-ahead to build a Dominator SS for the event. This bike arrived in Canada earlier this week and is now on display at the "12 Days of Great" display at the Toronto College Park site. You'll noticed the brushed aluminum fuel tank which is hand welded, alo...ng with the exhaust unit which is hand fitted, welded and polished. All the artisan craftsmanship that goes into making each of these unique bikes is what makes Norton so different from others in the marketplace, and Norton Canada is thrilled to be able to display this beautiful bike. If you have a chance to stop by the UK Pop-up Consulate, you'll have a chance to look at the bike up close.
