bell motorcycle helmet warranty

This helmet fits like a glove. Air flow vents work great even in 90 plus degree temperature. Love the ease of removing the face shield and the styling of the helmet. The safety rating along with the affordable price point this helmet is worth the investment. Bought for the wife I bought this helmet for my wife and she loves it. It is her first full face helmet. She says the fit is great and vents very well. We put a sena 3s on it with no issues. This helmet has a lot of wind noise. So much that it hurts my ears at 70 mph. Had accident two months ago, this helmet saved my life when I hit the rear corner of a stopped work van. After 5 years and 17,000 miles I bought this helmet thinking that I would replace in with a more expensive helmet within a year or so. Well 5 years later and the helmet has served me well. I may replace it with another Vortex but am leaning toward an RS-1 just to upgrade. (Lighter and possibly a bit quieter. ) The visor system works well and has a detent the leaves about an inch gap which I use for a bit when starting out but not at high speed.

It is super light weight and doesn't fog up like my Arai. The visor is easily interchangeable. I use the Transitions Lens and it is amazing. The shield latch is easy to lock/unlock with winter gloves on.
motorbike shop buxton Cons: Fits pretty snug.
motorcycle superstore maMy neck catches a lot of wind.
motorcycle repair villa park il Overall, I love this helmet! Close but has a few flaws... I've had some time with my Vortex, so wanted to give a quick review. It's a good fitting and good looking helmet, with all safety ratings and features you would want. The shield system is excellent, and works perfect. However the negatives are a bit annoying. I'm guessing Bell is only using a few shell sizes, because my medium is huge and barely fits in my bikes cases- not a deal breaker, but it's big.

My only other complaint is it's a very noisy helmet, vents open or not. Noisiest helmet ever made The wind noise while wearing this helmet is almost unbearable. It is so loud that while riding my sport bike with a loud aftermarket exhaust, you cannot hear the engine while moving. Also the face shield does not have detents in its movement, so you can not run with it part way open. If you try, at about forty mph it will suddenly slam shut. It also runs small. The helmet is great. Looks good and feels good. It came with huge cheekpads that squeeze your face. Once I got the smaller pads (40mm) for $15, it fit great. I would recommend this helmet. Lives Up To All The Reviews! This helmet is everything Bell claims and everything the reviews say! It's top notch all around. I've had the same helmet for nearly four years, so it was time for an upgrade. I researched for months, and I ultimately landed on this one. I've never looked back. It's well-priced (shop around), it's stylish (I've gotten so many compliments), it's comfy (lots of nice features), and well-designed (easy release faceplates, pocket speakers, etc etc...).

Quality helmet, best in this price range Overall, I am very happy with this helmet. The cheek pads are a little tight, but I think they'll break in over time. I wear a large and ordered a large. The rest of the helmet is a perfect fit. Easy breakdown for cleaning. You hear the wind, but that doesn't bother me as I ride with the visor up most of the time anyway. Not what I expected. I needed to replace an older Shoei helmet but didn't want to spend the dough for another Shoei. Based on the reviews, I decided to go with the Bell Vortex. There is no eyeglass port! Cant wear my glasses! It's actually very quiet-til you start moving. More wind noise than I like but tolerable. Also since I ride some in the cold there is unwanted cold air on my forehead. With no breath box the shield does not fog- a plus over the Shoei. A decent helmet for the money, but I ride a lot. This is a great helmet. Not heavy to me at all. Vision is great through it. With all the vents open plenty of air moves through.

The chin piece was too close to my face and I could not move my jaw or lips without touching the helmet. It would have been impossible to use a Camelback with this helmet. I bought this helmet as my first helmet and I love it. Excellent matte black, no frills look. Good ventilation on hot days.Bell Bullitt Helmet - Solid Matte Black Birthed from an industrial design thesis at the University of Cincinnati from student Chad Hodge, the Bell Bullitt Helmet draws its inspiration from the original Bell Star helmet, first produced in 1966 and the very first full-face racing helmet. Initially contacting Bell with early sketches, Hodge continued without word from Bell Helmets regarding his design. Eventually, Hodge completed a final, hand-built product to show off. Hodge's final prototype received overwhelmingly enthusiastic responses from the motorcycling community and was contacted by Bell Helmets to determine if he wanted to make his design a reality. The Bell Bullitt is the product of Hodge's desire to craft a motorcycle helmet he'd like to own.

Manufactured with the finest materials and with the utmost attention to detail, the Bell Bullitt Helmet provides an exceptional fit, creating the perfect helmet for riders after a vintage look with modern, full-face protection and modern features such as five air intake ports and one exhaust port. With its sumptuous micro-suede interior fabric with leather trimmed interior, it is as comfy as it gets. Its overall look features an ultra low-profile design to avoid that 'bobble-head' look. With an enormous eye port, the Bullitt also offers and unparalleled field of vision for a full-face, modern lid. The Bullitt represents a natural progression of Bell's retro-obsession they put into the best-selling 3/4 helmet called the Custom 500. You can choose to add a vintage-style bubble shield or a flat visor to complete the look and function. Pick and choose as you see fit to your needs. The Bullitt also comes with a standard five-year warranty through Bell Helmets. Ultra low-profile fiber composite shell
