Jeff has traveled the world for both business and pleasure; at home, he's fond of giving his grandchildren rides in the sidecar of his K1200LT. He's also completed CLASS track sessions and off-road training. Office Manager Hannah Massey rides with her husband, Jeff (our dealer principal), on a variety of motorcycles, including their own K1200LT with sidecar. She and Jeff are very involved with their church and community, and it seems there's hardly anyone in the county they don't know. Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant Donna Whitlock came to us after a career in the local school system.
She's a welcome addition, helping with the mountain of paperwork a small business generates and, while not a rider yet, she's definitely thinking about it! Sales and Marketing Manager Steve Anderson has served in those roles as well as webmaster since 1996. He's been riding BMWs for more than 30 years and over 425,000 miles, and enjoys long trips to the end of the road. A member of the Iron Butt Association, American Motorcyclist Association, BMW Bikers of Metropolitan Washington, and BMW MOA, he's owned a number of BMWs. His current bike, an R 1150 GS he's ridden over 240,000 miles, is his favorite -- so far. Senior Motorcycle Salesman Ed Medina joined the Morton's BMW staff after being a customer for many years. After a career in law enforcement, he worked at a couple of other motorcycle dealerships before joining our crew. He's a member of BMW MOA and BMW Bikers of Metropolitan Washington. Ed has an R 1200 RT, an F 700 GS, and a K 75 RT, and his wife rides an F650GS single.
PARTS & ACCESSORIES DEPARTMENT Parts and Accessories Manager Seth Parelman was an ASE-Certified Master Auto Technician before joining the Morton's staff. He served as assistant manager for a number of years before ascending to the manager position in 2014. He rides a classic 1988 K100RS ABS Special. After a brief stint in the auto industry, Patrick Crawley has re-joined the Morton's team as Assistant Parts and Accessories Manager. He's currently riding a Triumph Street Triple. Patrick will be happy to help you with any of your parts or equipment needs. Shipping and Receiving Clerk Steve Luck maintains our expansive warehouse. If he's not moving motorcycle crates or pallets of merchandise, he's usually packing and sending out mail order parts shipments or riding his Honda VTX1300. Service Manager Stuart Beatson has worked around BMWs for decades. A former national champion road racer and a CLASS instructor for more than 20 years, Stuart oversees the most-qualified BMW service staff in the region.

Service Administrator John Walsh is a veteran of the motorcycle industry. Certified Master Technician Andy Shaw, originally from Woodbridge, Virginia, is a graduate of BMW's STEP instructional program for technicians and had been working at a dealership in Pennsylvania before coming home to Virginia. Andy rides a Buell 1125R and enjoys track days. He's also a certified MSF instructor, and hopes to do some teaching in the area. Certified Master Technician Mitch May is a Virginia native who grew up riding motocross and went to MMI for his BMW technician training. Although he's a certified BMW technician, Mitch currently rides a Kawasaki ZX6R; maybe we'll get him on an RR some day.
