Overall fit and finish is not perfect with very minor flaws in the paint or powder coating but only noticeable from inches away. The latch problem they used to have supposedly has been fixed. The rivets that hold the latch to the lid do wear through the canned portion a little bit so you may need to take a Dremel to the protruding rivets on the lid itself pretty minor. Nice build quality but they are mainly "'ABS" plastic, so not as durable as aluminum panniers The aluminum piece on the outside is screwed to the outside mainly for looks.. They open as clamshell with no inner restraints for gear Rubber gaskets seal for waterproofing.. Capacity on left will hold full face or modular helmet. Right side not as much due to cutout for pipe. Uses the bikes key to lock bags to bike and also lock the bags themselves. The lock mechanism is open to elements dirt snow mud ,rain etc. Also anyone can open lock with screwdriver etc,and take the bags, poor design on lock Made in Spain. Overall a nice option if you don't want to spend twice as much for aluminum bags and racks. Clean look official Honda hard bags ease of installation and nice price point are hard to beat. Nice for commuting and probably light ADV rides.
