SUBJECT: Burglary Arrest DATE: 02/12/2017 TIME: 1833 PREPARED BY: Inv D Hilton APPROVED BY: Sgt Mike Adams On February 12th, 2017, Investigators with the Johnson City Police Department arrested Jason Byrd, 32, of 712 N Barton St, with Burglary and Theft over $2500. The arrest stems from an investigation into a reported burglary at Jims Motorcycle Shop on February 9th, 2017, where over $9000 worth of property was stolen. On February 12th, 2017, Investigators went to 712 N Barton St, Johnson City in an attempt to locate Byrd on an unrelated Violation of Probation warrant. While at the residence, officers located some of the stolen property in a vehicle in the driveway. Other stolen property was located in the residence and inside a detached garage on the property. Jason Byrd was transported to the Johnson City Police Department where he confessed to committing the burglary on the night of February 7th, 2017. Byrd is being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $15,000 bond, with arraignment set for Monday, February 13th @ 130pm.

Hodges On 02/07/17, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Coby Carson (2321 E Brooke Ln, Johnson City, TN, 21 years old) and he was charged with Aggravated Burglary, Attempted Aggravated Burglary and Public Intoxication. Officers responded to 2317 Nave Dr. on a 911 call of an aggravated burglary where the resident could hear an unknown suspect walking up the stairs in the house. While in route to the location dispatch informed officers of an Attempted Aggravated Burglary at 406 Princeton Rd. Upon arrival officers discovered Coby Carson hiding in the bushes across from 406 Princeton Rd. Carson had severe cuts to his right hand and wrist where he broke the glass to a door of the residence trying to make entry. He was transported to the JCMC for treatment. Mr. Carson was released from the hospital and is currently being held at the Washington County Detention Center.

Reynolds was also charged with 2 counts of sell of Schedule II (crack cocaine). Reynolds was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center. Reynolds is being held in lieu of a $41,000 bond. Arraignment for Reynolds is set for 10:30 a.m. on 2/10/2017 in Washington County General Sessions Court. Don Shepard On 2/9/17, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Logan Centers (100 Carter Sells Rd, Johnson City, TN, 26 years old) and charged her with aggravated burglary and theft of property under $1,000. On 2/8/17, officers of the Johnson City Police Department responded to a residential burglary at a residence on Althea St. A victim came home and found a vehicle in her driveway and female walking from behind the residence. The victim was able to provide a tag number and a description of the female. As a result of the information provided by the victim, Logan Centers was developed as a suspect. On 2/9/17, Logan Centers was an occupant of a vehicle that was stopped for unrelated traffic charges. She was interviewed about the incident and admitted that she was the person who entered the house. Logan Centers was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where she is being held in lieu of a $21,000 bond.
