klim motorcycle rain gear

Jeff Milleman (Ft Lauderdale ) Great jacket, open all the vents and its not to bad here in sunny Florida .I'm 5'11 168 lbs and "M" fits good except when my arms are extended full forward as I feel it a little tight along the back.I think a "L" would be to big. $ well and have not hit rain yet, to see how dry it will keep me.Love not having to ware a liner(being Gortex). Hope this last forever but I would by another KLIM.Was at a MC show riding home and a few bikers beside me ask what KLM motorcycle I owned as I was on a Super Tenere, I in-lightened them about the KLIM name and company. Good, but with reservationsI'd suggest to go up a size, though. I wear Large in Speed & Strength, Roland Sands, Icon, and these in XL fit similar to those. Are reasonably comfortable (I'd challenge their claim that the outseam construction provides "unmatched comfort"-it's good, but my Speed & Strength gloves are far more comfortable), are built to Klim's typical standard of quality, and the technical features all perform as advertised.

The Gore Windstopper keeps the elements out nicely. My major gripe is with the palm material. I don't care for how the ScotchGuard coated Pittards Armortan leather feels on the controls. It has an almost unnatural amount of grip on the levers and grips, so much so that it interferes with precise modulation of the throttle, and the brake and clutch levers. Anna (Federal Way ) Bought this jacket as my all-purpose riding jacket. I do a lot of dual sporting and bit of single track. I look & feel like a woman in this jacket; other jackets make me look like a marshmallow. Articulated arms make it very comfortable when riding. The zippers at the hips give the jacket just enough give when sitting. First time wearing this jacket it poured all weekend. I was in the Olympics in WA state; got to the top of a peak and it was wet snowing sideways. My pants, boots, & gloves (non-Klim) were soaked-- I was numb in those places. I was shocked when I got back to camp & found that everything under the jacket was bone dry and warm.

I'm 6'4, 170, large-tall size fits great. Inseam has plenty of room to spare, adjustable waist helps give them a perfect fit.
motorcycle helmet memory foam Breathe well in mid 80s and humid, kept me warm through some light rain and seemed to repel a light even though they are not strictly waterproof. I do wish they had a zipper at the waist to connect with a jacket. Do Not Fear the "In The Boot" Pants I bought these pants on Motorcycle Superstore because their stock and delivery-service positions. (The other retailers came up short on stock or delivery options.) I needed pants for a last minute group DS ride, like yesterday, and MS had the inventory and delivery options to meet my unreasonable needs. Now for a comment on the sizing: awesome. I used the sizing tool on Klim's site to determine the best fit. It was spot on. For reference: I wear a size 34/32 Levis 501 and the size 34 Klim pants fit like a glove (err, pair of comfortable jeans).

So, sizing and availability aside, what about the pants? They perform as well as you would expect from a non-bargain pair of riding pants. They're as cool (breathable) as I could imagine DS/dirt pants could/should be, and they accommodate protection. I've ridden in jeans and other (relatively) cheap DS/dirt pants (O'Neal brand recently purchased at a local store). The difference is comfort (think torrents of sweat in the afternoon sun) and protection (option to add armor). Choose these Klim pants for the option of avoiding heat related discomfort (no laughing matter after 2--3 crashes in the dirt), and the option of avoiding pain and long lasting injury (add armor or face the consequences).Motorcycle Gear Street Gear Brands Klim Klim Snowmobile Klim Stow Away Jacket XS SM MD LG XL 2XL 3XL
