The Police treatment of people attending an event run by an outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) at Albion Park Rail has sparked debate in the Illawarra. The Fourth Reich held its motorbike and tattoo show on the weekend, raising funds for the Australian Aerial Patrol. However, online posts discussing the event and a video of a woman being questioned by police, have gone viral. The woman in the tape is apparently told by a police officer that by attending, she could be supporting people who have committed crimes against children. Talkback caller to ABC Radio Craig from trucking company MJ Rowles said the police's actions stopping and questioning members of the public went too far."Some of our drivers were pulled over four times until they complained and said they have a job to do," he said.Caller Anthony took a different view."I'm pretty sure if you go behind closed doors as to what they actually do, I'm pretty sure you'd say 'I'm not going to support this club in any other way'," he said.
Another caller Ben said, in his view, just the name of the club is highly offensive."Historically you have obviously got something called the Third Reich which a lot of people would know of in Germany during the 1930s and 40s," he said."And then to ring up and actually publicly defend an organisation that's calling itself the Fourth Reich just actually beggars belief."I mean I've got relatives who didn't survive coming out of Germany in the 1940s," he said.motorcycle repairs dartfordPolice have defended their decision to search cars and motorbikes and have refused to apologise for officers being impolite. motorcycle track day handbook downloadLake Illawarra Area Command Superintendent Wayne Starling said police actions were justified as they were targeting an OMCG."avon motorcycle tyres au
They don't run these shows for good people, they run these shows to pretend they are out there to look after the community," Superintendent Starling said."They are not there to serve the community, they are there to serve themselves."A spokeswoman for the Police Minister Troy Grant said it is not currently an offence in NSW to be a member of any OMCG, nor is it illegal to associate with members of an OMCG. motorcycle tires perth waHarry Mitchell from the Australian Aerial Patrol said he has received thousands of dollars in funding from the club over the years."motorcycle dealers loveland coloradoMy job is to provide a vital community service, we don't receive state government funding towards our operations," he said."used bmw k1200s motorcycles sale
