About Quaker City Motor Works This is a picture I took of George Parson (of Parson Auto & Cycle in Lambertville, NJ) around 1993. He was the man in my area for British bikes and tall tales. Many an afternoon was spent with George and his wife sipping coffee in his kitchen. There is no pretense here, at QCMW what we do is ride, race, fix and restore old motorcycles (British with the occasional other mixed in). In the mean time we stock the parts, the apparel, the equipment and more that we use.QCMW is the Philadelphia area's premier full service shop and source for vintage parts focusing on vintage British bikes. Give the shop a buzz and we can chat about what you need. Since 2009 QCMW has been shipping parts and accessories for vintage British bikes all over the world. Ever since I got my first motorcycle and had to deal with the arrogant attitudes at different bike shops, I wanted to have my own shop and do it better. Thirteen years later chatting with my good friend Sean, we started planning and named it after the old Quaker City Gear Works that was between where we both lived.

Schuylkill River Trail & Perkiomen Creek Trail Description: Combined it makes for roughly 45 miles of bike path riding from center city Philadelphia, through Valley Forge National Park, and ending at Green Lane Park Location: Betzwood Bridge part of Valley Forge Park - accessible from the Trooper Rd. exit of US 422 Near Collingswood, NJ The 346-acre Cooper River Park is found on both the north and south shores of Cooper River Lake. The urban park offers bike and pedestrian paths, as well as other recreational facilities. There is a 3.8-mile loop from Cuthbert to Route 130 and another 1.35-mile path from Cuthbert to Grove Street. Pennypack Trail - HYBRID The Pennypack Trail is a 2.4-mile rail-trail located mostly in Lorimer Park in Montgomery County and connected to Pennpack Park in Philadelphia County. Converted from the old Fox Chase-Newton Branch line, this trail runs from Rockledge Borough on the Philadelphia/Montgomery County boundary, north to Huntingdon Pike (Route 232) in Abington Township.

The Pennypack Trail now seemlessly connects to Pennypack Park and a 10-mile paved trail along Pennypack Creek, leading to the waterfront of the Delaware River.
