I've owned this helmet for going on a year. And i just got brake checked by an elderly guy. That's what i get for living in Florida. The helmet saved my life. Its scuffed up and the fiberglass def ate the pavement but I'm about to get another one, This helmet matches my VROD 2012 Muscle and I have no doubt about it's protection. I had to get this helmet twice I am a large and it fit comfortable I had to get a 2X..it's so so uncomfortable! Yes it's a cool looking mushroom head helmet! For the price you pay it should have at lease some cool straps.. I can't return this because the first day I got it it felt down and got scuff!!

Take my word you are not gonna be happy with this!! Don't Buy this Helmet I bought the Rouge helmet last month. Took the helmet off while pumping gas and placed it on the seat of my bike. it fell less than 24 inches and a 2 inch chunk of the shell broke off leaving a sharp and jagged edge down to the insulation. I would hate to be wearing this helmet in a crash. I think the "lightweight composite shell" is too light and cheap!! I will not buy from them again. (Morning view , KY) This helmet is very comfortable and extremely light. I was very happy with the feel and fit, noticing its comfort right when I put it on. It really feels like you're not wearing a helmet. The face guard is cool and functional. It's position is adjustable and I've played with it quite a bit to keep it off my big nose, with no problems. Would highly recommend this to others. Get a size bigger than normal. Most comfortable helmet I own. Riding almost 50 years so I've owned a few. I primarily use in the winter. My Aria full coverage fogs up at stop lights. FYI The XXL comes with the longer straps. So don't order a set if you think you need them like I did. The removable mouth guard allows me to put in tour pack on back. I bought this last thanksgiving for my wife. The truth be told I wanted to protect her more than I cared about protecting myself. She loves the helmet and we get compliments on it everywhere we go. I just hope that they have another sale on it this year.

I have been searching for the helmet that does not give egg head look, this is not it. Good return policy though. Bought this for days when my 3/4 is crock pot hot. Very good air flow, removable padding for cooler weather. I'm not crazy about muzzle, awkward to use. There is a very simple fix for the plastic straps mounted to the inside of the helmet that pinch the head. Take a heat gun to the Styrofoam liner for a few seconds and reshape the Styrofoam with a gloved thumb. Bell makes great products and they stand behind what they sell. I have a 2012 VRod Muscle that it's goes great with. My only complaint around 70-85 you get a whistling effect. I get compliments on the while set up of the bike with helmet. I love it just wish that damn whistling would go away. I personally love the fit and look of this helmet... very comfortable! my husband and I both own one and we don't regret it!

Everywhere I go, may it be while I'm riding or off the bike getting a bottle of milk in the groceries with the rogue in my hand- people can't help but say, COOL HELMET DUDE! Now that is enough for me.Buy one a little larger than you normally wear. Went to Missouri this weekend from Texas. After about an hour had to pull the pads out it hurt so bad. Wore a bandana with it. Helped alittle then the pain started again. By the time I got back home. I now have TWO bruises on the side of my head. And I mean bruises! If the helmet doesn't stretch out, I wont be wearing it again. Don't know if there is a pad kit for it. I found the sizing chart to be very accurate although at first the helmet fit very snug. I spent a few nights adjusting it and wearing it while watching TV. You must spend time adjusting it before taking it out on the road or you mostly likely will not be happy. Do yourself a favor and buy the long straps, they will give you more range with the adjustment. Very happy with the purchase!
