Wright said one of their original witnesses had come forward to say he was not satisfied with the sketch of a customer seen the day of the killings who never came forward.Deputies said the witness told investigators that this new sketch looked exactly like the person they saw inside the business, minutes before four people were killed.The homicides happened Nov. 6, 2003. The bodies of Brian Lucas, Scott Ponder, Beverly Guy and Chris Sherbert were found inside Superbike Motorsports on Parris Bridge Road in Chesnee.They had all been shot to death.

New person of interest sketch releasedIn March of 2012, Sheriff Chuck Wright said on the killings were, "probably one of the most gruesome, horrific crimes committed in our county."With a new sketch released, Wright said they wanted national media attention because someone out there had to know the person. He said that because the customer was never identified and never came forward as a witness, deputies believed he knew what happened."This fellow will tell us exactly what happened in the shop that day," said Wright.Deputies said the person in the composite sketch was seen in the store before the homicides and was acting as a customer with Scott Ponder looking at a particular motorcycle, which was being prepared for a sell.Wright questioned why this subject has not come forward in almost 10 years. "He will shed more light on the case then ever before," said Wright. Wright said if they can talk to the subject, they could cross him off their list or file charges, but until then the investigation remains open.

FOX Carolina's Diana Watson spoke to the mother of one of the victims, Brian Lucas, back in 2012, as well."It's been far too long without anything. It's time for something to come out and get more information," said Lucas' mother, Lorraine Lucas.Lorraine and her husband, Tom Lucas, have worked in the years since the killings to spread the word about the case. They were even involved in an effort to get the pictures of the victims and the story of what happened onto playing cards that were distributed to South Carolina prisons. They hoped it would lead to tips among inmates who may have heard something behind bars."I am assuming they will release something more and at least draw some more interest. We have been trying to get some nationwide attention," Lorraine Lucas said.She, her husband and other family members of the victims attended a press conference in early 2012 on developments in the case.Todd Kohlhepp confesses to Superbike killingsJust a day short of the 2003 murders, a man by the name of Todd Kohlhepp shared with investigators on another case, that he was responsible for the killings. 

Kohlhepp was taken into custody this week after Kala Brown, an Anderson woman missing 2 months, was found chained up like a dog inside a metal storage cabinet on his property. The shocking news didn't stop there. Days later, the body of a missing man was found on Kohlhepp's property in a shallow grave. Saturday, Sheriff Chuck Wright and Coroner Rusty Clevenger confirmed that the body had been identified as Charles David Carver, the significant other of Kala Brown. He had also gone missing with Kala Brown.As investigators began canvasing Kohlhepp's nearly 100 acres of property, they happened upon Carver's body.
