County Regional Parks will soon begin a maintenance and enhancement project in and around the lake at Prado Regional Park. The project consists of the lake’s diversion system being repaired. The department is securing all necessary permits to perform the work. In order to make the repairs, the lake will be drained and then refilled once the work is completed. Once the project begins, the lake will be closed for fishing and boating for the duration of the project. We anticipate that the lake will reopen late-Spring 2017.
