I came across the Fox Raptor and it offers the best protection of anything I found. What sold me was the wrap around sides that offer true core protection. Most items available just have front and back protection leaving the sides vulnerable. He really likes it and fits well. Now my 11 year old is wanting one. Winter in Utah, may not be riding for a while. Hip Belt looks to be good quality, holds all my riding tools except the tube. I can also get a small bottle of water in the bag. Lots of compartments and hold downs so tool don't rattle around.Well see how it holds up through the summer.
