Saved my husbands ankle I bought these for my husband as a surprise Christmas gift. He rides a Hayabusa and my heart skips a beat every time he rides. When he opened this box his eyes lit up and he was excited. He loved them and they were true to size. He also said they were surprisingly comfortable. Well fast-forward to January 23rd, he hit a loose patch a gravel after passing some train tracks and lost control of the bike. His bike when sliding and he rolled after it. The bike didn't make it but he did. He came out with some gnarly road rash, a dislocated shoulder (may have torn something), and a sprained ankle. Now let me say that his road rash if it weren't for his leather vest would of been much more severe. I don't even want to think about it, thank god he was wearing his helmet. And his ankle for sure would of been broken if it had not been for these shoes. They seriously saved him there. His ankle did end up sprained but he was lucky, the bike landed on his ankle first.

We may need to get him another pair when hes ready to ride again. But they don't look to bad considering. They're a bit tight in the fingers/palm for 2XLs (for comparison - all of my MX gloves of various brands are 2XL and are a little loose) with short fingers, but feel nice and have stretched to fit a little in the month of use so far. Besides that, my only complaint is the wrist enclosure - at it's tightest, it's still not tight to your wrist. I've worn these almost daily for a month now, and I'd buy again for this price, just go up one more size. joanne kaplan (Brandon ) I wear a 6 and ordered these in a 10 after reading the other reviews and wish that I ordered an 8 so I found that you only need to order one size up. I am keeping them as I don't mind them being a little larger while riding and I can wear long johns underneath in cooler weather.

Weather as cold as 25. It's absolutely perfect for the colder weather with the liner inside of it. When it got into the 50s and 60s there is no use for the liner. (Drayton Valley, AB, AB) Been riding with it daily. Have worn in weather as cool as 24 degrees f. I will buy again if I ever wear this one out. Worth every penny for a cold weather jacket I bought this jacket for use on the forty degree weather morning and have loved the jacket and not regretted the purchase at all. The jacket itself does a fantastic job to keep you warm while the zip in hoodie is installed and the size and fit is nice and snug and comfortable. I left he pads in the jacket because I like the extra armor and have never had a issue of them sliding around in the sleeves like some people sometimes complain about with riding jackets. I have also taken the hoodie out of the jacket and used it as just a warm hoodie to wear on its own as it is also a very comfortable hoodie in of it self. When the liner is removed and the jacket is warn of itself it still does a great job to keep you warm for temps around fifty degrees as long as you keep the zippers zipped up.

I have another jacket for warmer weather and it has not been warm enough to test it at temps above sixty, however I highly recommend for a winter rider. Bought this jacket as a Christmas present for my son who knew what he wanted, just couldn't find it. This jacket is everything he wanted with lots of extras. Says it's a great jacket all around, but surprised himself by liking the back armor. Fits great, looks great, hope to never have to test the durability, great features and good cost. Great gloves for the price For the money...excellent choice. Fit and finish are great, half the reason I bought the jacket. Doesnt appear to be as high quality as I would have liked for the cost of the jacket but I haven't had any issues either. Lots of pockets and the zip out hoody is great to wear on it's own as well. Overall I recommend this jacket as a good balance between style and functionality. A Good Jacket for the price. Good gear is expensive ...having said that, I feel this purchase would've been Awesome at -$50 less than paid.

However, it is built durable with hefty protection pads that will work to keep joints and back in tact! They do add some serious weight to the jacket though. Pockets are placed well and it fits great. Medium worked for me at 170, 5-11". I haven't tried it in the heat of the Las Vegas summer, but it kept me warm in the cooler weather and with the zip-out hoodie it is very comfortable. Amazing, Fit, and Comfortable Can't say anything bad about the jacket. It's great, it's durable, fits perfect, is very stylish- the hoodie is a plus. Keeps you warm in cold weather and cool in hot weather with the air vents it has going through your arms out the back. I'm always a little hesitant ordering jackets online since you don't get to see how they fit beforehand, but this jacket is a pretty true fit. The hoodie liner is awesome, zips out easily but stays in place when buttoned in too. Looks rad to boot. I've had this jacket for about three weeks now and I love it. Very light and comfortable.
