We meet once a month (except in December) on the third Monday of the month at the Old School House, Heritage Acres, Saanichton. In December the club has a Christmas party and awards night. Generally the club meets on the Sunday afternoon following the monthly meeting for a car rally, tour or other activity and follows this with refreshments at a pub or restaurant.
The club hosts two major English car events each year, the Restoration Fair and Swap Meet in May and the English Car Affair in the Park (ECAIP) in September. We have approximately 175 members, who own examples of nearly all marques of English cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles. Annual membership is only $25. Free ads for members and non-members mean there is a steady stream of interesting stuff. The newsletter holds articles on CJMC activities, supplies Tech-Tips of knowledge toward your bike and riding needs, supplies a detailed calendar of our club's events and other entertaining subject matter pertaining to having fun with your classic Japanese motorcycle. DIXON SWAP & SHOW The CJMC holds the largest all Japanese swap and show, called the CJMC CLASSIC JAPANESE Swap & Show, and is currently held in Dixon, California. MEMBERSHIP Annual dues are $25.00 for the United States and Canada, $30.00 for the rest of the world. Membership is handled on a yearly basis from the month you join.
