WEMS Race #9 – Thunderdown in the Underdown RESULTS and 2016 Series Points Standings Here are the race results for the Thunderdown in the Underdown – RESULTS Here are the overall Series Points Standings – SERIES POINTS (FINAL) We thank everyone who came out to enjoy a great fall day of racing at the Underdown. We would also like to thank Chris Schotz and his support crew for an outstanding job and major kudos for adding a tremendous amount of trail in less than 3 months. The new addition of trail will be used in next years “Hundred-Down in the Underdown” which is expected to feature a 1 lap (short distance), 2 lap (mid distance), and 3 lap (long distance) course which will be sure to challenge even the most fittest of all, “Bill Underdown”. Please stay tuned for the 2017 season calendar as the anticipated date for the “Hundred-Down in the Underdown” is expected to be in August. Northern Kettles Fall Epic – Race Results Thank you to everyone who came out for a great day of racing at New Fane. Also, Thank You to Bill & Brittany Nigh and company for organizing/hosting such a great event! The weather was excellent and you could not have asked for a better day. We apologize for the delay in posting the results as mobile data is not that great within the confines of New Fane. Here are the 2016 Northern Kettles Fall Epic – Results Please inform us ASAP if we made any timing errors or have misspelled any names.These are the updated 2016 Series Standings! If you have done 4 races or more, YOU will receive an overall SERIES AWARD! This is based on our points system. To explain this, the more races you do, the more points you earn. Hopefully, it is enough to beat the next person on your way up to the TOP! There are racers who still need to do (1-2) more races, to be eligible for an overall series award. Get ready everyone because you still have two more chances left to better your position in the SERIES Standings.

Come join us for a fun filled day of mountain bike racing! This year’s race will once again be TIME BASED. The person to complete the most laps within the time allotted can call themselves a WINNER! Day of Race registration will open at 6:30am and close 20 minutes prior to the start of each race. LONG distance – Runs from 8am – 6pm MEDIUM distance – Runs from 1pm – 6pm SHORT distance – Runs from 2pm – 5pm Unfortunately there is no overnight camping IN the lot, but Mauthe Lake and Long Lake are close by. Don’t forget this is a State Park so you’ll need to bring enough for a trail pass and sticker if you don’t already have those.
