6" Homestead Pebbled Boot5xl motorcycle half helmet Reviewer: justme from Massachusetts My boot search is also over! I can't count how many boots I have tried on but these are finally keepers. I think these are more stylish and more comfortable than iron rangers, I normally wear wide but am able to fit into these. I do wish they had a removable insole but these style of boots almost always have sewn in leather. However I was able to fit the thinnest superfeet into this. They renegade tan color is not pebbled. Great boot, still breaking them in. I foresee them lasting 5-10 years easy. 9" Waterproof Insulated Super Logger Reviewer: Chris Downie from Connecticut Bought these as a gift for my son in May. He didn't wear them to work, the stitching started coming apart on one the boots with little wear after only 6 months. Called Zappos and they replaced the boots! The is great customer service.
I always shop at Zappos for the easy ordering and speedy delivery. Couldn't get better service anywhere!! 10" Apache Steel Toe Pull OnBuy one size smaller for best fit. Zappos exchange policy is great. Reviewer: from Bradford, Vt I love my new Chippewa Apache Steel Toe Pull On's. Be prepared to go a full size lower than you typically wear. I usually wear an 11 or 11.5, but I had to go down to a 10.5. Working with Zappos was great and painless. I had to exchange for a size smaller and got them the next day, even during a snow storm. The boots are breaking in nicely. Wear tall socks to keep them from rubbing calves. Reviewer: Stacey from Missouri I bought these for my husband who has wanted a pair of casual shoes to wear on the weekends. He loves them so much and said they are so comfortable he'd wear them to bed! American Handcrafted GQ Apache Lacer Boot I've tried them all. Reviewer: gc_ from Georgia These my friends are hands down the best boots I've ever owned.
And, at this price point it's a win / win. Make your feet happy BUY THEM!! 10" Apache Pull On Reviewer: Don from NEW YORK City (Manhattan)Cushioned well for walking around the city. They look great in jeans and a sport coat. Mine did not run large as other people have noted. I ordered them a half size small, but ended up exchanging them for my actual shoe size. Classic 6" Lace Up Reviewer: Michael from Illinois A great all around boot for the money. Sure you could buy a less expensive boot, but I wanted boots made to last and that were made here in the US. all the stitching and cuts were perfect. My only small issue is that the right boot foot arch support seems a bit higher than the left...but maybe it's just that my foot has a shallower arch...not really sure. I like them so much I would get them again in a different color but I bout a pair of Red Wing Heritage boots in the brown/ox-blood at the same time as these (see my review) so I don't foresee myself buying any more boots in the next 10 years or so!
I wear these just about everyday; to work, on the motorcycle, out for a semi-chic night on the town with a nice pair of jeans and a sport coat...they can be dressed up or down! I normally wear an 11D. I bought these in 10.5D. No break in time. Cordovan is an awesome color. Reviewer: Scott C from MaineMuch lighter than my "loggers". They are a bit dressier than typical work boots. My wife likes how they look with jeans. They are not insulated so they wouldn't be great if you're out in the cold for long durations. I originally ordered them wide and was swimming in them. The normal width felt slightly snug at first but after only wearing them once they formed well to my feet. Reviewer: Joe from New York These are great looking boots that don't seem to hold up to everyday wear. After two years of owning them, the lining on the inside by the toe is completely gone, and no amount of oil or treatments keep my feet from getting wet in the lightest rain. They're not the most comfy either, so buyer beware.
For this money, it seems like you're better off with Red Wings (which is something I'll try next). My Timberlands I've had for 5 years are still water proof and more comfy without any kind of treatments or insoles. Reviewer: from Seattle, WA These are so beautiful! I want to keep these badly, but at this time its a purchase that I need to return. American Handcrafted GQ Tan Rodeo Boot Out of the box and onto my feet, super comfortable, no rubbing or blisters as I have experienced with other work boots, these just went right to work. I wear them all day. The size was good as was the width. The laces might be a tad too long but that and their stiffness due to the waxing would be my only criticism and that isn't much to gripe about. I really like these boots and would definitely buy them again. 6" 55161 WP Comp Toe Reviewer: Mark from NY Order these on a Wed night at 10PM, and they arrived the next morning at 9:30AM!! I have hard to fit feet, and these fit great.
Worse them the next three days in the snow and they were comfortable, warm and dry. I honestly expected a fit problem, but these were great. 6" Plain Toe Lugged Boot Reviewer: Tom from Maine I have warn Chippewa since I was size 8. That was a long time ago! I did not know exactly what I was getting when I bought Apache Lace Ups. Yes the leather was thinner then the Service boot. I would have liked a 12 E but I settled for the 12 EE instead. I had bought a 8" Apache lug in 11 1/2 D...worst mistake! I felt as if I was trying to put on a 11! That would have been blister city in no time! I love my boots and shoes, I buy American made, or what passes for American made mostly. Each and every time I have ever tried on a China made shoe, or some such animal, I always need a 13 and even at that I have no room long ways or side ways. My boot size has been 12 since I my pre-teenage. I think these web sights do much to confuse younger boot buyers. Reviewer: from Temecula, CA
The most comfortable boots I've worn. I have Ecco, Timberland, and Eastland, these by far are great. I originally ordered a 9, but the fit was to tight. I went with a 9.5 and the magic begun!!!! 6” Apache Steel Toe Lace Up Reviewer: Molly Hanson from Central Mass Don't order if your feet are even slightly wide. Reviewer: Taylor Robinson from Houston, TX Beautiful leather on the Tan Renegade. Less red than that shown in the Zappos photos. Tough at first but breaking in very nicely. Ordered a size 10 and fit is perfect, normally wear a 10.5 in Nike/Adidas/etc. Looking forward to many years of use in these fine, American-made boots.I get lots of compliments. Feels stiff, but is actually more comfortable than you might think when you put them on for the first time. Reviewer: Dennis Horten from NH Fantastic Boots, very comfortable with a pair of wool socks. Break in period seemed relatively short. I waterproofed with Sno-Seal and it works great and even darkens up the leather a bit.
