sidi motorcycle boots waterproof

Sidi Sport was founded over 40 years ago by sports footwear icon, Dino Signori. He created the first rear entry ski boot (and Sidi bicycling shoes), and in 1969 Dino aligned himself and Sidi with Italy's motorcycle hero, Giacomo Agostini, to refine his road boot designs, and signed up five time world champion Joel Robert to create the full bore Sidi motorcycle boot. In subsequent years, the Sidi design team has created some of the most groundbreaking designs in motorcycle footwear and technology. Sidi boots were the first to offer inner ankle protection, the sole replacement system, cam-lock off road boot buckle systems and more. Mark Solomon (Washington ) Had a bad accident which left me with a fused slower spine and unable to get my Vortices on and off without imitating a pretzel for half an hour. Not as tough as the Vortices I had to sell, but better than my ST Airs, if not as all-day comfortable. Main difference for me is that I can get them on and off as I'm hoping to return to the track next year.
I've worn Sidis for the past 8 years and it will take a lot to get me to change. Will probably get another pair of these as the main downside is they don't have replaceable lowers. these boots are great! ankle can move up & down witch is why I bought them, unlike other boots that are super stiff,ie suck! pretty good so far Get them one size larger Similar comments to what Scott wrote: I got these in the same size as my running shoes (about 1/2 size over dress shoes) and the boots never felt really comfortable. They're just too tight to the point of hurting. Thinking it's a matter of breaking-in, I started riding in the Sidi's, but they never become comfortable enough. I just ended up ordering a 2nd pair a full size larger and hope that these will fit as expected. Will make someone else happy with the barely worn smaller pair. Marek Gruszecki (Seattle ) I have had these boots for last 5 years and love them. They have been equally comfortable riding through Alaska rain as well as the desert in Nevada.
It is a great value for the money. Nice design & great colors. Look superb on my bikes! Very easy to peel off , w/ a blade of course. We talk a good game of hardcore two-wheeling with the barista, but as soon as the skies darken and a few drops fall most of us swap saddles for windshield wipers and six-way adjustable seats.
Riding safely in the rain takes a special level of concentration and skill, and it takes dedicated gear to stay dry. Nobody likes to ride hard and put themselves up wet — but armed correctly, we don’t have to. Any full-face helmet will stave off facial monsoons and most textile jackets and pants out there have some built-in level of impermeability. But where most of us fall short is with our footwear. Instead of sliding into a full-length riding boot with proper gusseting, Gore-Tex and sealed seams, we opt for our favorite riding shoes or, worse yet, those trusty Horween, heritage kicks. Trust me, it only takes five miles for every ounce of H2O that hits you to turn those six-inch boots into an aquarium. These boots, however, will keep every little piggy warm and dry while you cut puddles on your hog, so slide into a pair and take advantage of El Niño’s unseasonably warm and wet winter.
