Before setting up his own business in Australia, Terry Prince used to work for Fritz Egli in Switzerland where he was manufacturing the famous Egli frames. For many years, TPV will focus on the assembly of motorcycles using his own design and pre-owned modified Vincent engines along with a successful motorcycle parts and restoration business focused on the Vincent brand. In 1996, Terry met Ron Slender and they formed RTV with the purpose to build modern Vincent from scratch including the engines with casing. Two models were developed, a classic 1000 and stroked 1200cc. Only 4 bikes were built along with 8 incomplete chassis that were sold subsequently. Today Terry’s focus now is purely the manufacturing frame for Vincent beside performance parts supply and service for Vincent. In 2015 TPV came with a new concept close to the original Vincent frame with separate UFM (oil tank) and RFM (cantilever) both made of milled billet. The Bruce Highway has reopened at Elimbah after a horror crash that killed one man and injured another motorcycle rider on Sunday.Police said preliminary investigations suggested five motorcyclists were travelling together in a group, making their way towards Brisbane from the Childers area. "It appears as they approached the bridge over Beerburrum Creek, one of the motorcycles has veered right for unknown reasons, hitting a guard rail," a police statement said."A second motorcycle has collided with the first, knocking the rider off."A third motorcycle has then collided with the same rider."The man who was killed was a 43-year-old from Collingwood Park. A 47-year-old Browns Plains man, the rider of another motorcycle, was transported to Caboolture Hospital.The southbound lanes of the highway were closed for several hours, and traffic was diverted to Steve Irwin Way.The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.EARLIER: A motorcyclist has died and another has been injured in a horrific crash on the Bruce Highway, north of Brisbane.A group of motorbike riders were travelling together along the Bruce Highway when one of the motorbikes hit a barrier at Elimbah about 11.28am.
